Mujeres visionarias que nos han acompañado a lo largo de este año, llegamos a noviembre penúltimo mes de este 2021, lo que además de contentas nos pone reflexivas de lo que Dios está haciendo como ministerio. Al volver a leer el versículo sobre las estaciones en la Biblia, me doy cuenta de que fue una promesa de El, de no volver a destruir la tierra y vemos que no solo Dios puede acabar con su creación si no también nosotros, la diferencia es que el no se equivoca en los cambios y comienzos y nos enseña, siempre es tiempo de cambiar. Y en esta edición tenemos temas como el día de el Hombre, es así que ellos también son una hermosa creación de Dios, además también tendremos otros temas como los abrazos, la bondad y una muy interesante entrevista, donde te contaremos sobre la interesante labor de la médico especialista en medicina nuclear Alma Barrera y su investigación sobre el síndrome de la X frágil. Por último vale la pena que leas y compartas nuestra revista que con amor y esfuerzo realizamos, pues nuestro objetivo es bendecir.

CÓMO TOMAR LOS CONSEJOS POR PRA. LILI REZA Aunque parezca que existen personas libres de problemas, recuerda que la mayoría ellas sí los tiene, pero no los cuenta. Hay gente con matrimonios disfuncionales, otra que está abrumada por pro¬blemas financieros o por la educación de los hijos y, otra más que sufre depresión nerviosa y siente una especie de vacío interior que le impide realizarse. También hay personas esclavizadas por el alcohol o por el sexo, sin embargo, no hay suficientes consejeros pro¬fesionales para dar abasto a estas situaciones. El aumento de problemas personales y una creciente desilusión en los esfuerzos por resolverlos han dado paso al intento de buscar nuevas vías de solución. Por fin ha llegado el momento para que los creyentes to¬men a Dios en serio y desarrollen un método bí¬blico para ser aconsejados bajo la firme autoridad de la Escritura y la suficiencia de Cristo. FAMILY HUGS Most people believe that the perfect family does not exist, but I like to think that it does because it was designed in the heart of God. However, we are still in the process of understanding and exploiting the potential of this incredible idea. I believe with all my heart that God created the family because he wants us to live together and embrace each other throughout our lives. This embrace has many potentials; the family’s embrace can provide the supernatural environment for the Savior to do amazing things. Have you ever seen it like this? Think with me what Malachi 4:5-6 says, “I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. Preaching will turn fathers’ hearts to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers….”. A united family embracing each other is dynamite in the Kingdom of Heaven. The devil has worked overtime to destroy them, but that is why with all intention, I invite you to heal all the grudges you may have towards your family members, to be able to see in them the love of God as you give and receive a hug. Maybe you are a person who does not have a family as such; today, I want to remind you that if Jesus dwells in your heart, then you are part of the best family in the universe, the heavenly family; you are not alone! Let us give thanks to our family and, at the same time, let God embrace you through those imperfect but loving arms.

La gran mayoría de las personas considera que no existe la familia perfecta, pero a mí me gusta pensar que sí existe porque la familia tuvo su diseño en el corazón de Dios, solo que nos encontramos en el proceso de entender y explotar el potencial de esta idea tan increíble. Creo con todo el corazón que Dios creó a la FAMILIA porque desea que vivamos acompañados y abrazados a lo largo de nuestra vida, este abrazo en realidad tiene mucho potencial, el
abrazo de la familia tiene la capacidad de proveer del ambiente sobrenatural para que Dios haga cosas asombrosas, ¿lo habías visto así? Piensa conmigo lo que dice Malaquías 4:5-6 …Les envío al profeta Elías antes de que llegue el gran y terrible día del Señor. Sus predicaciones harán volver el corazón de los padres hacia sus hijos y el corazón de los hijos hacia sus padres... Una familia unida que se abraza es dinamita en el Reino de los Cielos. El diablo ha trabajado horas extras para destruir a las familias, pero es
por eso que con toda la intención te invito sanar todos los rencores que puedas tener hacia tus familiares, a poder ver en ellos el amor de Dios mientras les das y recibes un abrazo. Tal vez eres una persona que no tiene una familia como tal, hoy quiero recordarte que, si Jesús habita en tu corazón, entonces eres parte de la mejor familia del Universo, la familia celestial, ¡no estás sola! Demos gracias por nuestra familia y a la vez deja que Dios te abrace a través de esos brazos imperfectos pero llenos de su amor.

EL DÍA INTERNACIONAL DEL HOMBRE POR MARTHA PADILLA Creado en 1992 por el profesor Thomas Oaster, de la Universidad de Hissouri, Kansas, en Estados Unidos, esta conmemoración pretende realzar las contribuciones positivas de los hombres a la humanidad, así como crear un modelo masculino cada vez mas completo y profundo que sirva como arquetipo para las nuevas generaciones. ¡Enhorabuena! pues la sociedad en general necesita desesperadamente promover modelos masculinos positivos que proyecten lo que debe ser un verdadero hombre, libre de machismo y de 8

También este día se puntualiza la necesidad de buscar la salud y bienestar de los varones, pues muchos de ellos dejan en último lugar los cuidados que se merecen y ello contribuye a que sufran enfermedades y fallecimientos a corta edad. Valoremos el poder de lo auténticamente masculino y celebremos la perfecta complementariedad con ellos.

En la actualidad vivimos en un mundo plagado de diferentes problemáticas y por ello se necesitan jóvenes que puedan tomar el papel de líderes influyentes, pues en esta etapa de la vida surgen inquietudes y preocupaciones que se reflejan en la forma de ver el mundo y de querer mejorarlo. Los jóvenes debemos estar rodeados de proyectos que busquen mejorar el bienestar futuro, en los que puedan lograr ser un factor de cambio y compartan una mejor visión. Los jóvenes somos el futuro de la nación, seremos los próximos gobernantes, empresarios, maestros, pero, sobre todo, seremos quienes continuemos con el legado que se ha
formado durante varias generaciones. Debemos tener en cuenta que el futuro se construye a partir de las experiencias del pasado y con el esfuerzo del presente. Ser influyentes va a demandar de nosotros un gran esfuerzo, mientras que otros opinan que para ser influyente es necesario ser un líder y moverse de ciertos círculos, tener ciertas personas que lo avalen, etcétera. La capacidad de influir en los demás es una de las principales características del líder, las personas verdaderamente influyentes se convierten en líderes naturales. “Si tus acciones inspiran a otros a soñar más, a aprender más, a hacer más y ser mejores, eres una persona de influencia”.

INFLUENCING FOR A BETTER WORLD Today we live in a world plagued with different problems and for this reason young people are needed who can take on the role of influential leaders, because at this stage of life concerns arise and are reflected in the way of seeing the world and the way we want to improve it. Young people must be surrounded by projects that seek to improve future well-being, in which they can be a factor of change and share a better vision. Young people are the future of the nation, we will be the next rulers, entrepreneurs, teachers, but, above all, we will be the ones who continue with the legacy that has been formed over several generations. We must have in mind that the future is built from the experiences of the past and with the effort of the present. Being influential is going to demand a great effort from us, while others think that to be influential it is necessary to be a leader and move from certain circles, have certain people to endorse it, and so on. The ability to influence others is one of the main characteristics of the leader, truly influential people become natural leaders. “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and be better, you are a person of influence”.

DOCTORA ALMA BARRERA
POR SANDRA ROCÍO CHÁVEZ Sabías que existen familias padeciendo de un síndrome hereditario que, aunque no afecta por completo sus vidas, sí complica su aprendizaje y comportamiento a la hora de socializar con alguien. Este síndrome es el de la X Frágil, el cual actualmente es investigado en nuestra ciudad por la doctora Alma Barrera Gutiérrez, quien además de tener una especialidad en medicina nuclear, desarrolla una labor social diagnosticando a niños que puedan tener este trastorno. Para realizar el trabajo de localizar a menores con el mencionado síndrome, la doctora −quien tiene formación profesional en el Complejo Hospitalario de Navarra, en Pamplona, España−, es apoyada por las profesoras de la Universidad de California en Davis (UC Davis), Flora Tassone y Randi Hagerman. Precisamente fue Hagerman quien interesó a Barrera en el tema, pues al acudir a una charla patrocinada por el Club Juárez Campestre y ser la única miembro médico fue invitada a participar en la investigación, la cual las ha llevado a escuelas y centros de terapia en busca de prospectos a los cuales realizarles una de las 200 pruebas que le fueron asignadas a la mexicana. 1 2

Síndrome de la X Frágil
Este es un trastorno hereditario ligado al cromosoma X que afecta principalmente a hombres, pasa por generaciones y ocasiona discapacidad intelectual. Cabe destacar que los papás suelen transmitirlo sólo a sus hijas, mientras que las mamás lo pasan tanto a niños, como niñas.
Cómo diagnosticarla
La primera etapa de la investigación consiste en buscar a esos niños que pudieran ser candidatos a la prueba que consiste en tomar una pequeña muestra de sangre a través de uno de los dedos, para luego enviarla a Estados Unidos con la doctora Flora Tassone, quien después de analizarla dará a conocer el resultado, que, en caso de ser positivo, provocará la toma de un tubo completo del plasma para ser estudiado profundamente y así saber la etapa o nivel de trastorno que se padece. Esta investigación también servirá para conocer otras enfermedades, algunas (tal vez) que ni siquiera se sabía que existían. “No hay consciencia de muchas enfermedades porque fueron recientemente descubiertas o porque son muy raras y no se tiene tanto conocimiento, hay otras que son muy comunes y tampoco se tienen en cuenta”, dice la médica nuclear.

“Por desgracia en nuestro medio ni siquiera se tienen estadísticas de esta (X Frágil) y muchas enfermedades genéticas”, agrega.
Tratamiento
Tras el diagnóstico positivo los niños, dependiendo de la edad y peso, deberán empezar un tratamiento a base de metformina, Omega 3 e incluso CBD o cannabidiol, sin dejar de lado los medicamentos que ya utilizan para sus otras enfermedades. “La ventaja con estos niños es que tienen un tratamiento específico que les ayuda a mejorar en caso de ser diagnosticado”, asegura Barrera.

Fragile X Syndrome
This is a hereditary disorder linked to the X chromosome that mainly affects men, passes through generations, and causes intellectual disability. It should be noted that fathers usually transmit it only to their daughters, while mothers pass it on to boys and girls.
How to diagnose it
The first stage of the research consists of looking for children who could be candidates and taking a
small blood sample sent to Dr. Flora Tassone. Being positive will cause the taking of a complete tube of plasma to know the stage or level of the disorder that is suffered. This research will also learn about other diseases, some (perhaps) that were not even known to exist. “There is no awareness of many diseases because they were recently discovered or sporadic, and there is not so much knowledge; there are others that are very common and are also not taken into account,” says the nuclear physician. “Unfortunately, in our environment, we don’t even have statistics for this (Fragile X) and many genetic diseases,” she adds.
Treatment
After the positive diagnosis, the children, depending on their age and
weight, will have to start a treatment based on metformin, Omega 3, and even CBD or cannabidiol, without leaving aside the medications they already use for their other diseases. “The advantage with these children is that they have a specific treatment that helps them improve in case they are diagnosed,” assures Barrera.

INTERNATIONAL DIABETES DAY
DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE LA DIABETES DRA. ANGÉLICA MENDIOLA PANTOJA El Día Internacional de la Diabetes se creó con la finalidad de concientizar a la población sobre esta enfermedad. Es una ocasión especial para dirigir la atención al público e informar sobre las causas, síntomas, complicaciones y tratamiento a seguir en este padecimiento, que desafortunadamente a aumentado a nivel mundial. Para conmemorar esta fecha se eligió el 14 de noviembre, pues en un día como ese se celebra el aniversario de Frederick Banting, quien junto a Charles Best, descubriera la insulina en el año 1921. En esa misma fecha, pero en 1991, la Federación Internacional de Diabetes y la Organización Mundial de la Salud introdujeron el logotipo que representa a la enfermedad, es un círculo de color azul que significa vida y salud. Se eligió ese color porque además 1 4

representa el cielo que une a todos los países, sin olvidar que también es el color de la bandera de las Naciones Unidas. La Comunidad Internacional de la Diabetes que incluye a miembros de la Federación de Diabetes, organizaciones particulares, departamentos sanitarios, empresas privadas, sector salud y otros, realizan cientos de eventos a favor de la sociedad, a la cual trasmiten la mayor cantidad de información, ya sea a través de programas de radio o actividades deportivas, campañas informativas con carteles y folletos, actividades recreativas para niños y adolescentes, así como ponencias y seminarios, entre otros. La importancia de realizar todos estos eventos radica en que en la actualidad se calcula que hay alrededor de 350 millones de personas que padecen diabetes crónica, y es de interés general contribuir en la prevención basada en la información oportuna de la comunidad.

November 14 was chosen to commemorate this date, as it is the anniversary of Frederick Banting, who, together with Charles Best, discovered insulin in 1921. SEAMOS REVOLUCIONARIOS POR ADRIANA CAMINO En este 2021 conmemoramos el 111 aniversario de la Revolución Mexicana, suceso considerado como un punto de inflexión en la historia de nuestro país. Por definición una revolución es “un cambio social organizado, masivo, intenso, repentino y generalmente no exento de conflictos violentos para la alteración de un sistema político, gubernamental o económico”. Al saber esto podemos reflexionar en el hecho de que detrás de dicho movimiento había una búsqueda de valores e ideales como la libertad, la igualdad y la justicia, los mismos que como creyentes debemos encontrar a través de establecer el reino de Dios aquí en la tierra. Los cristianos somos llamados a
vivir en continua revolución buscando hacer un cambio en la estructura política, económica y social de nuestro país, por medio de establecer los principios y valores del reino de Dios. Porque la libertad sólo la encontraremos en Cristo por medio de su verdad. (2 Corintios 3:17, Juan 8:31-32) La igualdad solamente la conseguiremos viéndonos unos a otros a través de los ojos de Dios, de la manera que él nos ve y nos ha creado. LET’S BE REVOLUTIONARIES In this 2021 we commemorate the 111th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, an event considered a turning point in the history of our country. By definition, a revolution is “an organized, massive, intense, sudden social change and generally not free of violent conflicts for the alteration of a political, governmental or economic system”. Knowing this we can reflect on the fact that behind said movement there was a search for values and ideals such as freedom, equality and justice, the same that as believers we must find through establishing the God’s kingdom here on earth. Christians are called to live in continuous revolution seeking to make a change in the political,

economic and social structure of our country, by establishing the principles and values of the God’s kingdom. Because we will only find freedom in Christ through his truth. (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 8: 3132) We will only achieve equality by seeing one another through the God’s eyes, in the way that he sees us and has created us. (Genesis 1: 26-27, Romans 2:11, Galatians 3:28) And there will be justice when we put into practice what he has commanded us. (Proverbs 31: 9, Matthew 22:39) God wants to revolutionize your thinking and your life, he wants us to be revolutionaries in the midst of a world in which the systems of values and government do not go according to his word.

CÓMO TOMAR DECISIONES FINANCIERAS POR CULTURA FINANCIERA Somos lo que somos y estamos donde estamos por las decisiones que tomamos en el pasado. De la misma forma que las decisiones importantes de nuestra vida trascienden en el futuro, también las decisiones pequeñas, que aparentemente 1 8

son inofensivas, pueden marcar el éxito o fracaso de nuestras finanzas. Saber tomar decsiones no es simplemente la habilidad para tomar decisiones rápidas. Es la habilidad de tomar decisiones correctas y de apegarse a ellas. Un área que necesitamos aprender a tomar buenas decisiones es el área de las finanzas.
We are who we are and we are where we are because of the decisions we made in the past. In the same way that important decisions in our life transcend into the future, also small decisions, which are apparently harmless, can mark the success or failure of our finances. Knowing how to make decisions is not simply the ability to make quick decisions. It is the ability to make correct decisions and stick to them. One area that we need to learn to make good decisions is the area of finances. Financial decisions are influenced by three main factors: our goals, our priorities, and our values. It is necessary to note that goals, priorities and values are spiritual matters. These three factors need to be aligned with the Biblical perspective if we want God to bless us, and if we want to ensure that we are being wise in the use of financial resources.. 4 guidelines for making good financial decisions Seek wise advice: To have confidence that our financial decisions are good and correct, we must have the advice of wise people in the economic issue or with previous experience. A benefit of asking for advice is that we can save ourselves many bad experiences that others have already suffered. Gather and Interpret Information: A good decision depends on a clear and honest interpretation of the relevant information. It is not enough to have data if we do not have the correct and complete perspective of a situation. You need to have a budget to know how much you are earning,

Choose correctly: Check that your financial decisions are consistent with your convictions and biblical values, with the goals of family projects and with the priorities that God has indicated to you in his word. We are all susceptible to wrong motives and feelings. Protect yourself from indecision: If you do not invest the time, effort, and resources necessary to manage and control your finances, you will lead to a certain failure. You need to set aside time periodically to plan and review your finances, as well as a trusted ally who will hold you accountable so that you can develop the habits that will help you take control. If you do not like where your finances are, you are not tied to that situation, you can change, changing your decisions. Great achievements are the result of small efforts. No matter where you are or what you do, your decisions and actions have a “ripple effect” on those around you. The way we do the little things determines the way we do everything. “ The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.” Proverbs 12:15

Las decisiones financieras son influidas por tres factores principales: nuestras metas, nuestras prioridades y nuestros valores. Es necesario hacer notar que las metas, prioridades y valores son asuntos espirituales. Estos tres factores necesitan estar alineados a la perspectiva Bíblica si queremos que Dios nos bendiga, y si queremos asegurar que estamos siendo sabios en el uso de los recursos económicos. 4 pautas para tomar buenas decisiones financieras Busca consejos sabios: Para tener la confianza que nuestras decisiones financieras son buenas y correctas, debemos contar con el consejo de personas sabias en el tema económico o con una experiencia previa. Un beneficio de pedir consejo es que podemos ahorrarnos muchas malas experiencias que otros ya han sufrido. Reúne e Interpreta la información: Una buena decisión depende de una interpretación clara y honesta de la información relevante. No es

suficiente contar con datos, si no tenemos la perspectiva correcta y completa de una situación. Necesitas contar con presupuesto para saber cuánto estás ganando, cuánto y dónde estás gastando, para saber dónde debes realizar ajustes.
Elige correctamente: Comprueba que tus decisiones financieras sean congruentes con tus convicciones y valores bíblicos, con las metas de los proyectos familiares y con las prioridades que Dios te ha señalado en su palabra. Todos somos susceptibles
a motivaciones y sentimientos incorrectos. Protégete de la indecisión: Si no inviertes tiempo, esfuerzo y los recursos necesarios para manejar y controlar tus finanzas, te conducirás a un fracaso seguro. Necesitas separar tiempo periódicamente para planear y revisar tus finanzas, así como un aliado de confianza que te pida cuentas para que puedas desarrollar los hábitos que te ayudaran a tomar control. Si no te gusta dónde están tus finanzas, no estás atado a esa situación puedes cambiar, cambiando tus decisiones. Los grandes logros son el resultado de pequeños esfuerzos. No importa dónde estés o qué hagas, tus decisiones y acciones tienen un “efecto dominó” sobre los que te rodean. La forma en que hacemos las pequeñas cosas determina la forma en que hacemos todo. “Al necio le parece bien lo que emprende, pero el sabio atiende al consejo.” Proverbios 12:15
