Der Slogan "A-Anti-Anticapitalista" bringt den Konsens in der Bewegung für Klimagerechtigkeit zum Ausdruck, dass nur ein systemischer Wandel die Klimakatastrophe verhindern kann. Wenn er skandiert wird, kann er in Tempo und Lautstärke mehrfach variiert werden, was seine melodischen und musikalischen Qualitäten hervorhebt. Das Material, das Ressler für seinen Film zusammengestellt hat, sind Live-Aufnahmen von Ende Gelände und der Occupy-Bewegung, sowie im Kontext von Anti-G7-, G8und G20- und anderen politischen Mobilisierungen entstanden. Die Arbeit macht darauf aufmerksam, dass der zukünftige Erfolg der Klimabewegung von intersektionalen Ansätzen abhängig ist, sowie von der Möglichkeit von Allianzen mit antirassistischen und dekolonisierenden Bewegungen, mit Bewegungen gegen Geschlechterunterdrückung und anderen, die gegen unerträgliche Formen der Arbeitsausbeutung kämpfen.

The slogan “A-Anti-Anticapitalista” conveys the consensus in the climate justice movement that only systemic change can prevent a climate catastrophy. When chanted, it allows for multiple variations of tempo and volume, drawing out its melodic and musical qualities. The materials assembled for Ressler’s film are live recordings by Ende Gelände and the Occupy Movement as well as during anti-G7, G8 and G20 and other political mobilizations. The work raises the awareness that the future success of the climate movement depends on intersectional approaches, on the possibility of alliances with anti-racist and decolonizing movements, with movements against gender oppression and others fighting intolerable forms of labor exploitation.
