Members of the Order take an oath and wear a stainless-steel ring on the pinky finger of their dominant hand to remind them of their ethical obligation to the profession. More information can be found at www.order-of-the-engineer.org. One of the seminal Order of the Engineer institutions, UW-Platteville, Link 11, was established as an Order institution on May 22, 1975.
