We encourage you to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, even if you are not sure that you will qualify for financial aid. Get started at studentaid.gov and use UW-Platteville’s school code 003921.
In addition to federal aid, UW-Platteville offers over $6 million in merit and need-based scholarships so students can focus on their studies without burden.
The Platteville Promise guarantees that the university will pay for any gap between an eligible first-year student’s tuition and fees and their scholarships/grants. Available to Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota residents.
Earn while you learn Federal Work Study is a federally funded, need-based program, which gives you the opportunity to work on campus part time. Any student can also choose from hundreds of on-campus employment opportunities that are designed just for university students.
