2021 WiSys patents awarded to College of EMS faculty
A nonprofit supporting organization of the UW System, WiSys serves as a dedicated technology transfer office for the system’s 11 regional comprehensive universities. The goal is to help “great ideas” reach the wider world. UW-Platteville has had the most WiSys awards in the UW System since 2020.

ASEE Diversity Recognition Program
The American Society for Engineering Education recently recognized the college with the Bronze Level Award for the ASEE Diversity Program– the highest-level award issued this cycle. This fall marks the third year of ASEE’s recognition program, and only the bronze level is issued at this time. UW-Platteville is designated as a bronze level status for three years, after which the university can apply for the silver-level recognition, allowing for an opportunity for continuous evaluation and improvement of its diversity initiatives.
