STREET BLADE ENHANCEMENTS UNDER WAY IN UNION CITY

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN PROGRESS

Heads up, Union City! We are currently changing out street blades (signs) throughout the community.

Street blades have several benefits, such as helping drivers navigate roadways to reach their destination safely and creating a sense of place. In other words, drivers know they're in Union City.

This project ties into the City's R3 Master Plan to Reclaim, Renew, and Reimagine our community.

LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE. WORK. PLAY.

The goal of Union City's Adopt-a-Spot Program is to create litter awareness and foster strong partnerships with our business and residential communities. We want to enhance civic pride, beautify the City, and eliminate litter and other pollutants to protect the water quality within our corridors.

As a community, we realize that what shapes our City is our residents and businesses. This initiative helps Keep UC Beautiful and supports current City ordinances regarding litter control while promoting, enhancing, and sustaining litter-free conditions. There are several ways to get involved. You can sign up for the Adopt-a-Spot initiative, participate in litter clean-up events, or help promote our awareness campaigns. By working together, we can ensure a cleaner, more sustainable Union City for generations to come.
