Management eng: set the context •

All organizations must plan their activities and manage their resources to attain their goals.

These organizations operate in socio-economic environments collaborating with and competing against other organizations.

The modern, global industrial and economic environments are more complex and dynamic than ever requiring continuous adjustments.

Technology is an important asset to leverage, requiring many transversal skills.

Management eng: what is it all about? (An example) Where should it be manufactured? Which are the main markets? How much does it cost? Which investments are required? Which services could we provide? What do we need to manufacture the products? Which is the best selling price? How should it be transported? How should we organize the company’s resources? …and many more!
