over$40K.Fiveyearslater, the island continues to suffer rom broken promises and corrupt policies. But this has not halted the movement. Residents continue to advocate or and work towards just Thisrecovery.event upli ts people-led initiatives on the island. We Still Here introduces the youth o Comerío, Puerto Rico navi atin their community’s recovery a ter Hurricane Maria. The youn residents never thou ht they would become the leaders o their community, but find themselves travelin to Washin ton D.C. to protest in the halls o Con ress. This comin -o -a e story documents their journey as they find their power and be in creatin a sustainable uture or themselves and their community.
