Under the comfort of the azure sky, On this hammock, I comfortably lie. The distant sound of food cooking, The smoky smell of charcoal burning, As I lay here to rest and unwind. I thought to myself, this is one of a kind. The cold breeze of the coastal air; The people I love, this moment I share. People I see rarely are here. The air filling up with noise and cheer; The chatter of moments long lost Shared with people I love the most. Lamps are lining up the tall trees; Time moves on as dawn creeps. Under the shade of these fruit bearing trees, I shall find everlasting peace.
