About the Spoliarium, they were never mistaken; Such is the place of agony, suffering and resentment. Dragged were those who were weak and fallen, The violence and bloodsheds are just luxurious entertainment.

Spectators – eyes were wide open, yet can’t see; As the innocent were executed. Two centuries later, we hear a familiar plea, Déjà vu! The painting has been resurrected.
A gunshot roared through the alley, It is as loud as thunder could be. Bang! Follows a quick gunfire volley, Crimson blood splattered from lifeless body.

What happened?! Why must the innocent die? This world, where violence and greed prevail; Decorated authorities turn their blind eye, Serving justice, only the rich can avail.

The tone of despair, the signs of victory, No one is safe, still living in fear. I asked. Do we always need to repeat history? The answer is a truth we don’t want to hear.
