Driving our car, he held my hand, it’s endless. He always looks at me with his bright smiles, I’m breathless. The way he stares at me, I already knew, and I pray that, “May we grow old together, this man I’m sitting next to.”

Suddenly, he asked me a question with his sincere and beautiful eyes. “Zira, will you marry me?” I cried, I’m surprised! I hugged him and responded, “Yes Chris! I will marry you!” He laughed and said, “I love you Zira, I always do!”

The vast ocean witnessed our love, it’s pretty and pure. No buts and doubts, I am completely sure. He loved me with all my flaws and now I admit, He’s the only man I want to grow old with.

A minute of hugging, I heard a fast car approaching. I stared at the bloody face of my love, Chris, Asking, “Why do we have to end up like this?”

I woke up lying on a bed. “How are you feeling?” an old man said. “I brought you here with a man, you’re in a hospital nearby.”

That word is like a trigger of a gun. I looked back to the old man, “Where is he?” “I’ll be lying if I said he’s fine, Room 303.”

I immediately opened the door. There he is, lying on the bed. I can’t bear seeing him like this “Please get up, I’m here beside you, Chris.”

Wake up, love, I am waiting for you. Hold my hand like you used to. But maybe everything has its end, like the 5th of June. When the heart monitor chimed its final tune.
