Welcome to Wisconsin!

We’re excited to invite you to Wisconsin for the 2025 “Visions in Red” Sale!

Over the past few years, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting this event at the Weis Cattle sale facility in Iowa. We’re incredibly grateful for this industry—and for friends like the Weis family—who generously opened their home and facility to us.

But as the saying goes, “there’s no place like home”. That’s why we’re thrilled to start a new tradition and bring this sale home.

We’re offering some of our very best—from proven donor cows that have produced champions, to exciting young show heifer prospects ready to compete at any level. We truly believe there’s something here for everyone!

Whether you come for the weekend or just for the sale, we can’t wait to show you around. Expect great cattle, plenty of food, and beautiful fall colors to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

When considering the major family operations of the business, TC Reds stands out as one of the top ones in our minds. Scott and Mia Bayer have contributed several influential genetic lines to the Red Angus breed, but more importantly, they raised three children through the process. Ty, Callie, and Tucker have had the privilege of exhibiting some of the most elite Red Angus cattle in history, and they achieved great success doing so. The family has a strong history of taking big strings of cattle to some of the most prestigious and coveted stock shows across the country, as well as achieving success at the junior Red Angus events during the summer. Regardless of their success, Scott and Mia managed to instill a solid work ethic and integrity in their children, which enhances the foundation for any outfit that does business with the family brand.

The new sale date was pursued by second generation management to make sure that their product was available earlier to meet some of the show requirements and deadlines that other states in the union have in place. This new date, combined with the fact that it will be held on the farm in Wausau, Wisconsin, also allows potential buyers to make it a weekend and tour the program as well. We are confident that those who take advantage of this opportunity will be as impressed with the operation as we are during our herd visits.

Scott Bayer is a big believer in maternal strength and understands the value of great cow families. Unlike some modern day cattlemen who are concerned with rapid generational turnover to latch on to the next great set of Index and EPD values, the Bayer approach to breeding cattle is more of the traditional long game approach. Longevity is essential to the outfit, and therefore, traits such as foot quality, skeletal integrity, fertility, udder quality, and overall phenotype have been the sorting criteria for as long as the family has been involved in the business. On a pasture tour, you will be impressed, and you will have more confidence in what your junior project can do with the TC prefix after the exhibition phase is concluded.

It’s no secret where we stand in this cattle industry. Prices are excellent, especially for the commercial cow-calf operator. Producer confidence is at an all-time high, and it seems these conditions will last for a while. If you’re a commercial producer reading this, now is the perfect time to acquire a female or a group of females with good pedigree and cow family ties that could enhance the future of your operation. For those who have been customers of the TC program or are curious about investing in one or more and haven’t done business here before, don’t hesitate to raise your hand or click the bid button, as this is the best set the family has ever offered. There is opportunity and room for growth and genetic improvement in this business, and these are the kinds of cattle and people you need to surround your program with moving forward.

Please consider this your invitation to Wausau, Wisconsin, the last weekend of September, for a fantastic Red Angus event hosted by an exceptional family. We guarantee you won’t be disappointed or go home hungry. If you need help with sight-unseen purchasing or have any other questions about the offering, please don’t hesitate to contact any member of the Innovation AgMarketing staff or the TC Family for those specific requests. The marketing team values your interest and will do everything necessary to ensure your buying experience is a pleasant one.

Enjoy the offering!

• J2R Resource 144J is a Red MRLA Resource 137E son that hit us awfully hard the first moment we saw him in the spring of 2022. We realized that it was time for Red Angus breeders to reach outside the box and find a bull that had enough of the trendy pieces that it takes to get noticed in the showring but truly had real world beef quality. He is one that was rock solid in his foundation and was going to bring back the fundamentals of good livestock!

• J2R Resource 144J has proven to live up to the expectations we had of him and has proven to consistently sire cattle that are high quality, and when we say this, it is the type of quality that can and will be appreciated by all stockmen and women, regardless of their background or preferences about livestock. We truly think he is the kind to tie to going forward and represents the next generation of phenotypic excellence for our program.

• The rookie heifer calf crop of J2R Resource 144J progeny was met this astounding interest. A pair of April born females commanded $17,000 and $15,000 respectively. From this rookie calf crop, TC Leta 100L emerged, and went on to be recognized as the 2024 Red Angus Youth Expo Grand Champion Owned Heifer for Rex Howard. To add to this, the high selling Red Angus Bull from the 2024 TC Reds and Weis Cattle Bull Sale was also a son of J2R Resource 144J. The trend continued through the 2024 “Visions in Red” Female sale, with four daughters of J2R Resource 144J, that averaged $18,575. The momentum around this sire is raging, breeders across the industry are turning in the direction of J2R Resource 144J to add quality in the first generation.

• Additionally, the quality is built deep into J2R Resource 144J from a genetic standpoint, he aligns the most potent cow families of the famed “Anexa” cow family in the U-2 cowherd, and his dam, a daughter of RED U-2 Reckoning 149A sets the gold standard for what a high productivity, mature dam should look like. We are all in on the J2R Resource 144J influence and could not be more excited to build the cowherd with his daughters. While he has already seen success, we feel like the best is still yet to come!

• This new addition to the family tree hits us very hard, she has immense quality all the way across her build and adds another feather to the cap of this cow family that is on the fast track to the front of the donor pen.

• We love the maternal sweep of her underline, the neatly laid in shoulder design she is blessed with, and the flexible set of feet and legs she reaches with. She too comes extra square pinned, robust in her forerib and incredibly elegant about her front third. She will both be very competitive in the March class for families that want to invest in not just a show heifer project, but a breeding piece that will return dividends and finance further endeavors!

• When it comes to cow families of notoriety at TC Reds, the “Sugar” tribe rises to the top of the list in a hurry! There are few linages in the business that can compete with the consistency of quality and progressive build that you will find here.

• This is the only direct daughter of the famed TC Sugarcup 02Y donor to sell, and she is bound to follow in the footsteps of her illustrious sisters that have sold before her. This is a mating that aligns perfectly, and we believe offers the peace of mind that there will be consistency built in with her generating capabilities down the road.

• In the flesh you will find a round ribbed, soft made female, that remains square pinned and wide based. She gives an incredible look from the side and ties high with a neatly chiseled head and neck design. Plain and simple this is just good quality stock, stemming from the one of best cow families in the TC Reds breeding program!

• TC Sugar 10N follows in the high-quality footsteps that have been tracked by her maternal siblings, as she stems from the genetic potency of the matriarchal, TC Sugarcup 02Y, through a dominating daughter of Meado-West Montana Creek 413.

• In fact, the dam of 10N is a full sister to the $16,500 TC Sugar K78 that the Wilson family purchased, and the $7,500 TC Sugar M89 that Andrew Turner purchased last year.

• The maternal value in this female is immense. 10N is a long bodied and refined featured female that sports a promising look in regard to being a show heifer prospect just as readily as a donor candidate. She is built for speed with a rugged structural makeup that accompanies her neat proportions.

• TC Hill Valley Suzy Q 513 is a descendant of the legendary WEBR Suzy Q 863 female that was campaigned to purple across the nation by the Vickland family of Colorado.

• This daughter of J2R Resource 144J screams immense cow power with every aspect of her build and pedigree, coming with a bold and broody shape to her ribcage, extra stoutness in terms of her bone work, and an intriguing look of balance and symmetry from the side.

• We are truly opening up the heart of the cowherd with the bred female offering, and there isn’t a better way to initiate this collection than with a donor female that has most recently proven her immense abilities to produce high caliber stock with her daughter, the $55,000 DUCH TC Miss Eagle 308L, who was crowned the Reserve Grand Champion Red Angus Female in both the Open and Junior Shows at the 2025 Cattleman’s Congress for the progressive Sandridge Land & Cattle program of Oklahoma and Mississippi.

• C083 has backed up the hype once again in 2025 with her Lot 16 daughter that is a full sister to the Cattleman’s Congress Champion and looks to carry the expectations laid out for her by those who have come before her.

• The genetic potency of the EGL GCC Red Eagle E7194 combination on Damar Peanutty C038 has proven its surefire ability to generate stock that stand up to the stringent phenotypic ideals of this business, and only in a mature cowherd dispersion would you find a female like this available to the public.

• When reminiscing on the major show champions we have had the fortune of raising over the past decade, it would be hard to debate that there has been one more dominating than the string of wins that TC Luanna 21D strung together for Alyssa Deporter over the 2017-2018 show season. She walked away being a two-time National Champion, winning purple at the 2017 NAJRAE, 2017 National Red Angus Show at the Iowa State Fair, 2017 World Beef Expo and Third Overall honors, 2017 North American and then capped off her career as a bred heifer with Reserve Grand Champion Red Angus Female honors at the 2018 National Western Stock Show. However, this wasn’t the end of her time at the end of the leather lead, as she came back out with a vengeance claiming the Grand Champion Female honors with her first-born bull calf at side again at the 2018 NAILE.

• Her dominating phenotype serves as a perfect base for generating the kind that see the bright lights and the big pay checks and know that the hereditability of her incredible kind is set to be unlocked with her mating to J2R Resource 144J.

• Opportunities to tap into the heart of the program occur all throughout this offering, but certainly one of the most captivating is TC Kashmir 33F. The track record of success that 33F has created is immense, as she is the mother of the Kleeman families $22,000 MLK Big Foot daughter that was Reserve Champion Red Angus Female at the 2023 World Beef Expo.

• 33F is also the dam of TC Resource 96L, the powerful stud that was campaigned in Oklahoma City as a calf.

• She also produced TC Kasmir 30J, a stunning female that was a member of the Reserve Champion Pen of Three Heifers at the 2022 Cattleman’s Congress and is now in production for the Belcher family of Abingdon, Virginia.

• When it comes to flat out getting it done, we think it would be hard to trump the promise and potential of this breed influencer in the making!

$50,000 Valued Maternal Sister to Lot 33

• While the Angus offering remains small, it comes absolutely loaded for bear with quality! We lead off with a maternal sister to last year’s high selling, and dominant champion, CLF Pin Up Gal 40M. Craig Gana made the $25,000 investment last year to acquire 50% embryo interest and we have been thankful to keep her in the barn for Tucker to show this past year, as she has made some incredible memories.

• Her titles include being selected as the Grand Champion Bred & Owned and Supreme Champion Female at the Atlantic National Junior Angus Show, 5th Overall Bred & Owned Female at the NJAS, and Supreme Champion Open and Junior Female at the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair.

• This year’s model, sired by the popular KR Casino 6243, follows suit as she comes with the same incredible feature and quality that her sister has been recognized for!

• The maternal pedigree of her dam, Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal 8105, knows nothing else but excellence. Maternally, Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal 8105 stems back to the legendary Seldom Rest BRMF Pin Up Gal donor that stands at the center of the Foster family’s Seldom Rest Farms breeding program. Countless success stories out of the Seldom Rest stable are attributed back to Seldom Rest BRMF Pin Up Gal, including a pair of successful full sisters to 8105. Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal 8134 was the Grand Champion Angus Female of the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show, Supreme Champion Breeding Heifer at the San Antonio Stock Show, and Supreme Champion female at the Tri-State fair for Georgia Bezner.

• Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal 0103 was a very successful female for the Oakley clan, with her shining glory coming with the slap for the Supreme Champion Breeding Heifer at the 2022 Cattleman’s Congress and she has now become a leading donor for the affiliated programs.

• 106N is a direct daughter of the FCF Phyllis 770 donor that sells as Lot 36. During her campaign, FCF Phyllis 770 was a many-times champion for Tucker Bayer including being the 2019 All American Angus Breeders’ Futurity in Louisville, Kentucky where she was selected as the Grand Champion Overall Female. 770 was also selected 4th Overall at the 2019 National Junior Angus Show and has generated several individuals of influence since entering production.

SO Remedy was selected as the 2021 Cattlemen’s Congress Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Bull. He has produced as many National Champions relative to exclusive use as any bull in the business!

• SO Remnant 418J was first noticed in Des Moines, Iowa at the 2023 AJSA National Classic when he was selected as the Grand Champion Bred & Owned Purebred Simmental Bull for Walker Housley of Tennessee. We knew that we needed to acquire this bull, and the rest is history!

• He was selected as the 2023 NAILE Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Bull and 2024 Cattlemen’s Congress Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Bull.

TJSC SO SWEET 104X Legendary Maternal Sister to Dam of Lot 42

• Similar to the approach in the Red Angus breeding program, proven cow families and genetics eliminate guesswork! The purchase of this female was no different, carried out with scrutiny to select a female from one of the Simmental breeds most dominant cow families, offering the look and substance needed for the “donor” designation.

• The “So Sweet” cow family began at the Foundation Female Sale, an annual event in Illinois hosted by the Dwyer Family. KS Miss She’s So Sweet 9, born in 2005, was a double-bred Meyer Ranch 734 sired female, considered an outlier for her time. Scott Sandeen bought the foundation matriarch as an open female. After settling to AI service, Scott decided to bring her back through the legendary sale, and that is when Randy Jones added her to the progressive Ohio breeding program.

• 118N comes with the credentials to be extra predictable and profitable in production, thanks to the influence of the Triple Crown winning MR HOC Broker on the maternal side of her pedigree! 42

• This proven female combines the popular MR HOC Broker with the influence of WAGR Driver 706T, reverting to the “OG” matriarch. Loaded with power and substance, and still youthful enough for you to take advantage of what she still has to offer the industry.

• Her extra mass, power, and genuine dimension is further complimented by her perfectly etched blazed face. She is carrying the service of the many times National Champion, SO Remnant 417J!
