We are pleased to bring you what we feel is one of the strongest and most dynamic sets of females that we have ever offered in the 29-year history of this event! We have always placed great selection pressure on the cattle in this sale, and this year is no exception. It is in our interest that every single animal can contribute to breed improvements. The offering is diverse in genetics but rich in maternal excellence and generating potential! The first daughters from the $700,000 world record selling FRKG Alpha 311L will highlight the event, along with daughters of the $620,000 STCC Tecumseh 058J, the $530,000 SO Remedy 7F, the $510,000 GPG Cornerstone 1K, the $300,000 OMF Doc Lynn L92, the $250,000 TL Ledger, the $210,000 FRKG Classic 948K, the $210,000 FRKG Victory 78J, the $200,000 EC Rebel 156F, the $150,000 Insurrection and many more!

We believe each one of these heifers offer the phenotype necessary to impact future generations of their respective breed. There are countless success stories in this business that are formed around cattle from past editions of this sale. You will note while studying this catalog that many heifers selling are supported by dams or granddams that have sold through this sale. This speaks volumes for the productivity and profitability of cattle sold in the Hartman Cattle Company Customer Appreciation Sale.

2025 NARJAE Fuzion Grand Champion Red Angus Heifer

We are proud of our grandchildren and their accomplishments both in and out of the show ring!

We are always proud of the quality job that the junior exhibitors and their families do with the cattle that they purchase at Hartman Cattle Company and for what they have accomplished. Over the last several years, females raised or marketed by Hartman Cattle Company were selected as the 2024 Cattlemen’s Congress Reserve Supreme Champion Breeding Heifer, 2024 NWSS Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer, 2024 American Royal Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer of the Junior Show, and 2024 American Royal Reserve Grand Champion Purebred Simmental of the Open Show, 2025 FWSS Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer, 2025 HLSR Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer, and the 2025 IN State Fair Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer. It is gratifying to see these females show successfully, but improving future generations is what this is truly all about. The females between the covers of this book have the credentials to show, but they will be profitable additions to any breeding program at the end of the day!

Quality cattle will sell in all price ranges at Hartman Cattle Company. We place strong emphasis on structural soundness, fleshing ability, and phenotypic eye appeal. These components will outlive any trend. This year’s offering is comprised of 29 Purebred Simmentals, 4 Percentage Simmentals, and 1 Maine Angus that share the common ground of being supported by pedigrees that have and will continue to stand the test of time. With that in mind we wholeheartedly recommend this sale offering!

As always, we invite your inspection of the cattle. If we can be of assistance, please give us a call. We look forward to seeing each of you on Saturday, December 13, 2025, as we celebrate our 29th Anniversary Customer Appreciation Female Sale.

AN EXTRAORDINARY GROUP OF OPEN SHOW HEIFER/DONOR PROSPECTS

29 PUREBRED SIMMENTAL HEIFERS | 4 PERCENTAGE SIMMENTAL HEIFERS

1 MAINE ANGUS/LOW CHI HEIFER

It’s with great pleasure to welcome you to the 29th Anniversary Customer Appreciation Sale at Hartman Cattle Company. Mike and Dalton have assembled an elite set of open females for your viewing pleasure and appraisal. It has been told by the early visitors that this is the very best set the HCC brand has ever offered and we would have to agree!

Mike and Dalton continue to search the countryside for top prospects carrying the influence of the dominant HCC sire lineup. What they increasingly find are cattle sired not only by the bulls that once called HCC home but also, more often, daughters of those bulls who are dominating the pastures in production. Loyalty does not go unnoticed, and the quality of the cattle he invites to the annual Customer Appreciation Event clearly reflects that commitment!

This year’s offering will feature many females raised within the barbed wire of the pastures owned under the Hartman name. Each year, Mike sells an elite group of open females to one interested party; these females are aspirated as virgins with the resulting embryos transferred fresh. Over time, certain cows from those acquisitions prove their worth through production, becoming the elite donors for that particular investor’s investment. We find this to be a very appealing concept because it allows the offering to showcase both what’s proven and what will be cutting edge and fresh in the years ahead.

In today’s show heifer game, people tend to favor those with exceptional customer service. Parents or grandparents seek help with show day preparation and breeding, but what sets this program apart is the focus on making your animal successful in production so that the resulting progeny are of high quality and can return to Tecumseh, Nebraska to help with investment recovery. The “experience” you invest in includes the family and the entire program, which has been around for nearly five decades and continues to remain extremely relevant in today’s fast paced marketing game.

The importance of the Hartman program is recognized throughout the ASA database within the pedigree lines. AI sires such as MR HOC Broker, Profit, STCC Tecumseh 058J, and SO Remedy 7F continue to hold a strong presence on the tan bark, as their service, daughters, and sons leave a lasting impact, often draped in purple. You’ll notice that some new sires of future influence are featured in this sale book, and rest assured, they remain a key part of the big plan for the years ahead.

If you have never visited the state-of-the-art facility outside of Tecumseh, Nebraska, we invite you to attend this year’s event. The food and hospitality will be excellent, and the other attendees will be a pleasure to meet and converse with. Don’t hesitate to contact Mike or Dalton to schedule a pre-sale visit. If you need further assistance with selection or information, feel free to reach out to any member of the Innovation AgMarketing team at any time.

Enjoy the cattle,

Graham Blagg Jered Shipman Tim Anderson

The

29th Anniversary CUSTOMER APPRECIATION SALE

FRKG COUNTESS OF 948 1N

• We proudly initiate the 29th Anniversary Customer Appreciation Female Sale at Hartman Cattle Company with a trio of direct daughters from the legendary “948” matron that is a member of the illustrious donor battery at Freking Cattle Company. “948” is without question the highest dollar generating female for Brad and Meg Freking, having exceeded the $3 million mark in progeny sales over the last four sets of ET calves.

• 1N is the first of three ET flushmate sisters sired by the $620,000 STCC Tecumseh 058J, a sire that has changed the trajectory of the business. This trio of future program building females are FULL SISTERS to the $700,000 half-interest world record selling FRKG Alpha 311L!

• FRKG Countess of 948 1N sets the standard when it comes to skeletal quality, flexibility, body shape, and overall presence. We love the way her neck ties so high and neatly at the top of her blade, while transitioning into a bold forerib and center body shape. She is long and square from hooks to pins, with a textbook set to her hip and hind leg design.

• A truly breathtaking female that is supported by one of the truly elite young females in the Simmental breed that has produced countess AI sires, National Champions, and individuals of significant influence within the breed.

• On December 13, 2025, the opportunity to select one of three direct daughters from the prolific “948” will present itself… the hardest decision you’ll have to make is which female best fits your program!

FRKG COUNTESS OF 948 2N

• FRKG Countess of 948 2N is the second daughter of from the STCC Tecumseh 058J sired flush that is supported by the immortal “948” matriarch! A powerful March born female that is massive in terms of her foot size, with added stoutness of bone and true base width. “948” is the dam of the $700,000 FRKG Alpha 311L, the $640,000 FRKG Marvel 271M, and the $210,000 FRKG Classic 948K. She is also the dam of FRKG Countess of 948 11K, the 2024 NWSS Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer that was campaigned by Kenidey Effling of South Dakota.

• 2N is an extremely long bodied female that is bold in the shape of her rib cage, deep sided, and offers a superior look of quality and style from the side that is hard to mirror. She is a stout made female that offers the extra “bells and whistles” necessary to follow in the footsteps of her dominant donor dam.

• A truly unique genetic opportunity to acquire one of three direct daughters from the legendary “948” … make sure you are in Tecumseh, Nebraska this December!

Lot 3

FRKG COUNTESS OF 948 3N

• The third and final daughter of “948” in this year’s Hartman Cattle Company Customer Appreciation Female Sale is FRKG Countess of 948 3M. Much like her ET flushmates, this female is built with true accuracy at the surface. She is big footed, stout boned, square based and offers true skeletal quality.

• We love the productive brood cow look that FRKG Countess of 948 3M offers from every angle of evaluation. She is so soft bodied, robust in the shape of her rib cage, and flexible when set into motion.

• 3M is a FULL SISTER to the $700,000 FRKG Alpha 311L and a maternal sister to the $640,000 FRKG Marvel 271M and the $210,000 FRKG Classic 948K. The maternal granddam of this band of sisters is the impressive BIZ Countess 174Y, a half-blood daughter by the late WAGR Driver 706T that is arguably one of his greatest daughters ever produced. 174Y is still in production at 14 years of age… talk about longevity and true maternal excellence!

• There is no doubt that the dam of these three females, HCC0 Countess of 174F “948” will forever remain one of the most influential females ever produced at Hartman Cattle Company. This is your chance to own a piece of history!

FRKG DGDC COUNTESS 4N

• The next female is a derivative of the legendary “948” donor dam that works for Freking Cattle Company via a first calf heifer dam that is owned with Dave Delaney of Iowa. Dave invested in a key group of elite open heifer calves 2 years ago, and that initial investment has proven to be HUGE for his operation.

• FRKG DGDC Countess 4N offers not one, but two shots of the iconic “948” in her pedigree! The sire of 4N is the $210,000 FRKG Classic 948K and her dam is FRKG Countess of 948 1115L, both direct progeny of “948”. Aligning her strong maternal influence has proven to be nothing short of a homerun!

• It is hard to deny the genuine power, length of body, structural correctness, and overall eye appeal that this dynamic January born show heifer/donor prospect possesses. She ties her neck high at the top of her blade and opens up into a very three-dimensional rib cage that offers an optimum progression of depth from her chest back into her rear rib and flank.

• A FULL BROTHER to the dam of 4N, FRKG Sterling 0312L, was the $20,000 selection of Jason Parker in the 2025 Hartman Cattle Company Simmental Bull Sale.

• It’s hard to deny the genetic consistency of the “948” cow family that sells all-inclusive with FRKG DGDC Countess 4N… bid to own!

FRKG COUNTESS OF 924 5N

• Arguably one of the greatest matings ever created at Freking Cattle Company is the EC Rebel 156F x HCC0 Countess 924G genetic combination! This mating is responsible for countless high sellers, AI sires, and show ring champions.

• FRKG Countess of 924 5N is sired by the $200,000 EC Rebel 156F and supported by the everlasting influence of “924”, another vital member of the donor pen that calls home to Freking Cattle Company. 5N is a FULL SISTER to the $225,000 record selling FRKG Countess 924J that was selected by Herbster Angus Farm. She is also a FULL SISTER to the $160,000 FRKG New Fashion 75J, one of the resident herd sires that walks the pastures of Bowling Cattle Company of Greencastle, Indiana. Other full sisters have sold for $105,000 and $60,000 over the last two years.

• A stunning blaze faced show heifer/donor prospect that is massive in the shape of her rib cage, sound footed and offers a look of balance from the side that is mesmerizing.

• The guesswork is removed, and the quality is unparalleled. Invest with confidence!
