We’d like to invite you all back to our Annual Fall Productions sale here at Moriondo Farms. Yes, it’s that time again! It sure seems like time is flying but, in the cattle business, right now times are fun, and time flies when you’re having fun!
We are very excited about this set of bulls and commercial females that we are proud to offer for your appraisal November 1, 2025. The power and depth runs deep from the first lot to the last one in the sale catalog!
The SimAngus bulls will be highlighted by the first crop of KCC1 Unanimous 2336K calves, in terms of pounds at weaning and yearling, foot structure, frame, and length of body, these bulls are knockouts! KCC1 Unanimous 2336K is a maternal sib to our beloved KCC1 Walk the Line 076J, these two sire groups are going to open your eyes when you make your way through the sale pens! We will also offer an excellent selection of calving ease options this year are sired by TJ Arrowhead 263G. These are heifer bulls that don’t look like heifer bulls would be the best way to describe them! Also, some standouts sired by CCR 5532 Cowboy 5115F, LCDR Patriot 8K, CCR Firepower 8081J, OMF Epic E27, and Sitz Domain 12371, with some more sire samplings sprinkled throughout. Power is the name and pounds is the game on these SimAngus bulls!
The Angus offering isn’t huge in numbers but is packed full of quality. Leading the pack are the Sitz Domain 12371 calves! They aren’t just your run of the mill Angus bulls, they have tremendous depth, dimension, and density. Check the pedigrees out, because you’ll think you’re still in a SimAngus pen with their kind of power and substance!
The commercial bred females coming to you from Moriondo Farms are due to calve March 1, 2026, and will calve for 60 days. They are AI bred to EGL Firesteel 103F, a time-tested calving ease SimAngus bull that we are proud to now have roaming our pastures. The females are pelvic measured, heavily critiqued, and ready to go to work for your program. Alongside them are the historic Wilmoth Ranch bred heifers. The Wilmoth family needs no introduction to the business, they invest in the very best genetics, are incredible operators, and are as progressive of cattleman as you will find anywhere in the world. A great opportunity to tie into generational cattle will present itself on November 1, 2025, as we offer 90 head of bred heifers that will knock your socks off!
We would like to thank our valued customers for believing in us, trusting our genetics to help you on your next generation of cattle. When you flip through our sale catalog, you will notice the emphasis we put on the “cow family”. The bulls selling are supported by some of the most well-respected lines in the business, offering superior consistency and generating potential. This set of bulls have the credentials to eliminate the guesswork for your operation. We can trust these cows to produce year in and year out, from the donors to the AI running cows. The females we retain and put back into production have set the foundation from the ground up. At the end of the day, the female helps determine the longevity for our bulls going into your hands, and in turn help protect your bottomline.
We are in exciting times in the cattle business with all-time record prices for all classes of stock and all-time low cow numbers! What a great time to find a bull or bulls that can add 50-60+ pounds at weaning and a group of heifers that you can build your program around. They couldn’t be more valuable than they are right now! We want to thank you all for your interest, and we look forward to hearing from you all and seeing you soon. Come see what these Moriondo Bulls can do for you!
God Bless, Mark
Moriondo
Welcome,
The beef business is the shining star for production agriculture on the North American continent, as it continues past the two-year mark for record markets for all classes of stock! Experts within the industry are very optimistic that this current market standard is here to stay beyond two more years, and rightfully so. Each aspect of this industry is in the black from an accounting perspective, as they are finally getting paid for their inputs and dedication in producing and processing the very best consumable protein on the planet!
Moriondo Farms is a diverse, family-run agricultural business that works hard to improve each product year after year. It doesn’t matter which part; Larry and Mark commit and invest what it takes to reach that goal. When it comes to enhancing the genetics and consistency of their cattle efforts, they hold nothing back! They understand that their program is only as good as what they invest in it. Their current and potential customers motivate them to pursue excellence, because if they succeed, then Moriondo Farms Beef division shares in that success.
The southwest Missouri rooted outfit runs well over 1,000 commercial cows and 300 plus registered females. Fescue is what these cattle are born on, raised on, and adapted to. The cattle between the covers of this sale book can thrive anywhere they are introduced. Longevity and quality have been selection pressures for decades within their commercial program, and those same principles have built the seedstock herd over time. The father/son tandem is very passionate about building the ideal beef animal that can withstand the pressures of the fescue belt, thrive in low input scenarios, with as much weight as possible at weaning time, and convert as efficiently as possible to the terminal stage. Mark has worked diligently in his sire selections to improve carcass merit as well, so that those who retain ownership can continue to reap the advantages of carcass premiums in harmony with the cheap cost of gain. Your success is their success, and profitable beef production is the ultimate goal!
This year’s offering will include a larger than normal bull selection, complemented by over 100 commercial bred heifers with a Mount Vernon, Missouri origin. The bred heifers have been hand selected from Moriondo customers as well as the top cut from the Moriondo commercial program. We are confident that you will find this set of bulls to be one of the deepest in terms of quality and genetic merit that they have ever offered at public auction. For those who have done business with the family for several years, there are fresh, new age genetic options within the bull division that would be outcrosses to those you have previously acquired. Larry and Mark both want each and every customer’s 100% satisfaction, and they will do whatever it takes to maintain this business partnership for the next generation and beyond.
Now is the time to invest in the next generation of genetics for your beef cattle program. The margins within these weaned calves are sufficient to support all aspects of improvement or expansion, but you cannot sacrifice the genetics that keep your outfit at the forefront of the free-market, true price discovery model. Your cows deserve the very best bulls you can run behind them, and the buyers of your end product will pay dividends for the improvements that you make along the way. If you should need any assistance with sight unseen purchasing or require additional information, feel free to reach out to any of the team with Innovation AgMarketing for those needs. We also strongly encourage all interested parties to contact Mark before the auction sale as well.
We thank you for your interest and undivided attention and hope to see each of you on November 1, 2025, at the first-class sale facility of Moriondo Farms located right off of I-44 at Mount Vernon, Missouri.

MISSOURI SHOW-ME SELECT REPLACEMENT HEIFER PROGRAM
The Show-Me-Select® Replacement Heifer Program uses the latest research on health, nutrition, genetics and reproductive science to ensure Missouri counties continue to be national leaders in providing quality beef. The program focuses on Missouri’s farmers and is dependent upon active participation from regional extension livestock specialists and local veterinarians, each of which are critical components of the agricultural sector of this state.
This program is unique in that it is an educational program targeted at improving production efficiency through increased use of existing technology, coupled with the marketing component.
Program Objective:
Improved heifer development programs through a Total Quality Management strategy
Increased marketing opportunities for and added value for Missouri-raised heifers
Creation of reliable sources of quality replacement heifers based on management, reproduction and genetics
Genetic Requirements:
Sire requirements: Eligible sires must have known ID, be registered by their respective national breed registry, and have complete EPD (opens in new window) information. Sires will be evaluated for qualification in the program based on the EPD provided by their respective breed registry and not on EPD produced by progeny registration in any other breed or hybrid registry.
