The Grand Event at Buck Creek Ranch

Page 1

From all of us at Buck Creek Ranch, we would like to welcome you to our Sixth Annual “Grand Event”!

This past year is one we won’t soon forget. The heifers that sold through last year’s sale experienced tremendous success this summer during the Junior Nationals and State Fair season. It’s because of you—our loyal customers—that we continually strive to enhance our breeding program and provide the services needed to help you achieve your individual goals. A highlight of the year was when Bret Pembrook exhibited the 2025 AJSA National Classic Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer with B C R Time To Shine 123M.

Our team at Buck Creek Ranch is here for you every step of the way. Garrett Cloud manages the day-to-day operations in Oklahoma, and he and his wife, Roxie, have played a major role in our continued success. This ranch would not run the way it does without them!

We have also been fortunate to surround ourselves with some of the greatest young men and women the industry has to offer. Joel Murray helps with daily tasks in Indiana. Carver Gostomsky, Cash Lehrman, Carlee Clark, Jackson Mattocks, Jonna McCullough, and Adam Miller are based in Oklahoma and have each been a vital part of our team. A special thanks goes to Josh Tolbert and Matt Scasta for preparing the cattle for this event.

Of course, none of this is possible without your support. Please feel free to contact any member of the Buck Creek Ranch team or sales staff with questions. We believe this is our strongest offering to date and invite you to join us on December 19, 2025, in Yale, Oklahoma, for the Sixth Annual “Grand Event”!

Respectfully,

Jacob Moore - Buck Creek Ranch General Manager

Grand Event Vol. VI

Join us at our sale facility! 25407 E McElroy Yale, OK 74085

It is with utmost pleasure that we welcome you to the 2025 edition of “The Grand Event” at Buck Creek Ranch. The Moore Family and the Buck Creek Ranch team are diligently preparing for your visit to the ranch in Yale, Oklahoma, on and prior to December 19, 2025, to view and appraise what is quite possibly the best set ever offered by the program! This year’s offering is loaded with the best of the best from the donor pen and the bull battery that has built the program. On December 19, 2025, the B C R prefix will be represented by some of the most proven and prolific cow families in the business. The offering will be influenced by cow families such as the iconic Miss Time To Shine Y251 tribe, as well as WHF Delilah 450H, BRB4 JBSF Kandy 112J, B C R Beautiful 310K, B C R Sara G304, Wallace Lucy 8132, and many more young and prolific matrons that will continue to carry the torch at Buck Creek Ranch!

As always, the offering also includes additional investment-quality candidates of top-shelf caliber. Jacob Moore and Garrett Cloud have keen eyes for quality and are highly disciplined in the model and type of stock they prefer in terms of build and kind, which is reflected in their consistent success each year. There are countless success stories stemming from acquisition experiences across all sexes and price points from “The Grand Event” sale series, and we feel the potential for success within this year’s inventory is laced with more quality and cow power than ever before offered by the firm.

This past year, the females that sold through last year’s marketing event enjoyed tremendous success at every level of competition. A highlight would certainly be Bret Pembrook leading B C R Time To Shine M123 to the title of Grand Champion Purebred Heifer this summer in Madison, Wisconsin, at the 2025 AJSA National Classic! The dam, granddam, and maternal granddam of this outstanding female were all vital building blocks in the foundation of the Buck Creek Ranch breeding program.

We strongly encourage you to come early and come often, but be sure to join us on Friday, December 19, for an excellent set of SimGenetic and Angus females offered by one of the very best families in the business. The Buck Creek Ranch team is committed to doing whatever is necessary to enhance your cattle viewing and buying experience, and their hospitality is truly among the best in the industry. If you are serious about the future of your junior show program or your seedstock breeding program, this is one event you will not want to miss.

If you need any assistance with information about the offering, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the B C R representatives or any member of the Innovation AgMarketing team. We hope to see you there!

Enjoy the cattle, Graham Blagg Jered Shipman Tim Anderson

B C R TIME TO SHINE M017

$74,000 Maternal Sister to Lot 1

• B C R Time To Shine 105G continues to make her mark in the Buck Creek Ranch breeding program, and it should prove to be a long-lasting one as she delivers high-quality progeny year after year.

• CMFM Time To Shine 99D, the maternal granddam of Lot 1, was relentless in her production, year after year. She, like her dam Y251, is a gift that continues to produce the next generation with outstanding quality and consistency.

• Lot 1 represents the core focus of the B C R breeding program, as she is sired by the senior herd sire Next Level and comes from the dominant “Time To Shine” donor family.

• N026 is maternal yet striking through her front third, blending smoothly into a deep center body cavity. Her structure is exceptional from blade to hip, setting herself down on a nearly perfect hind leg. She is poetry in motion and should have no trouble attracting attention by December 19th.

PUREBRED SIMMENTALS

• WHF/JS/CCS Woodford J001 continues to make his presence known as he sires cattle of both sexes that are in demand. His dam, WHF Summer 365C, is the timeless senior donor dam for the JS Simmentals and Wayward Hill Farm breeding programs that posted her own winning credentials during her tenure on the tanbark.

• This granddaughter of 105G is influenced by RP/B C R Eminence H005, the softer, wider based full brother to Rocking P Private Stock H010 that is also employed by RJ Cattle Co. of Mithcell, South Dakota.

• Her pedigree is certainly told by her build and overall kind. She sets to the surface with big feet, her bone shape is rugged as her loosely hinged skeleton takes her around the pen effortlessly. 037N is bold in her body shape, powerful in her muscle, and offers transitions that are smooth.

• We think highly of this brood cow prospect with show ring value and know that many others will too.

Lot 2 B C R TIME TO SHINE 037N

The Daughters of Time to Shine

• We continue the reign of the influence of Miss Time To Shine Y251 in the initiating phases of this elite sale offering! Quality exudes from each and every direct daughter, granddaughter, and great granddaughter that graces the pastures of the Buck Creek Ranch stewardship.

• This direct daughter of RP/B C R Eminence H005 is from an outstanding two-year-old that obviously did an incredible job in production!

• The head and neck designs and attachments from the “Time To Shine” influence are so very similar with only subtle differences from one family member to the next. The presence that this female owns is quite stunning, her body shape is bold, and her genuine skeletal width will be appreciated. She too comes with substance of skeleton and foot quality that will extend her longevity beyond the tanbark.

MISS TIME TO SHINE Y251

Matriarch of the “Time To Shine” Cow Family

• A SimAngus daughter of BNWZ Dignity 8017 from the matriarch, CMFM Time To Shine 99D!

• The cattle by 8017 are distinct and chiseled about their features and pattern lines. This female sets high from her smooth, correctly angled blade with little deviation into her spinal transition. She is strong in her topline, crisp and level to her pin set with a beautiful hind leg and pastern angle.

• We love the center rib design and her shape to her forerib as well.

• A highly competitive percentage show prospect with aftermarket production value.

The Daughters of Time to Shine

• A very stout built, youthful, SimAngus show prospect that is a maternal sister to the 2025 AJSA National Classic Grand Champion Purebred Simmental Heifer campaigned by Bret Pembrook. She is also a maternal sister to the 2022 AJSA National Classic Reserve Grand Champion Percentage Simmental Heifer that was shown by Josie Phillips.

• We are aware how easy it is to find a percentage Simmental female that can be shown, but finding one with a reputable pedigree, saturated with proven donor dams, is another level up.

• Besides B C R Time To Shine 104G on her maternal side, this May born heifer calf traces back to Angus royalty on the sire side as well, with the influence of Silveiras S Sis Sandy 2352.

• We appreciate the cowy, maternal look and build of this prospect and are certain many others will share the exact sentiment.

• The second of a pair of sisters from the proven B C R Time To Shine 104G. W/C Style 69E “Family Tradition” didn’t fall short on influencing the quality of this March born SimAngus prospect.

• High geared and High speed in her build only indicates potential domination of the general population as a mature, heavy bred a year from now! She has the look of a High-Octane racing machine as she comes high from her blade with her high arching neck and head attachment. She is ultra chiseled about her slender, lean neck,

• She comes round and bold through her center body and has the shape to her back, hip, and stifle to offer production credentials suitable for herd sire generation.

• She’s freakishly intriguing with high earning potential!

The Daughters of Delilah

• B C R is pleased to offer a fresh new cow family to the Grand Event, WHF Delilah 450H. 450H is a direct daughter of CCS/WHF OL ‘Son 48F from the Wayward Hills OG, WHF Delilah 45D, which certainly requires no introduction to the breed as she continually shells out the goods for Chris Allen and the Wayward Hill program. Jacob partnered with Jared Boyert and Tim Schaeffer to acquire this exceptional female that traces back to a past AJSA National Classic Champion, WHF Black Jasmine 240J, the rock and cornerstone for EVERYTHING good in Versailes, Kentucky.

• This April born prospect offers a proven genetic lineup that should leave most eagerly awaiting a trip to Yale, Oklahoma, before December 19th. This off-blaze marked female is incredible and balanced in her proportions. One that is seductive in her front third design, that is big and open throughout her extended center body, and offers sheer width and dimension from end to end.

• Her skeletal integrity and quality are constructed to the highest of standards, and we expect her to become nothing short of her direct or second dam in production.

• We do appreciate the length and future that this loose built daughter of JSUL Something About Mary 8421 has to offer! Her transitions are exceptionally smooth, and when set in motion, she remains collected and functional.

• The cow family value in relationship to the green shavings is one of a kind as her maternal granddam, WHF Delilah 45D in a genetic blend with a paternal granddam of the caliber of JBSF Proud Mary, great things are bound to happen just based on facts and merit alone.

• She has the big-time features with the like pieces that increases her chances of going the desired distance.

• Exceptional design and feature refinement are captivated within this daughter of Next Level that is supported by the full sister to the National Champion, HPF Quantum Leap Z952.

• A sound, blaze faced prospect that should have the pieces to remind them all of her quality and kind next summer in Grand Island, NE.

• Next Level continues to demonstrate he’s a valuable part of the Simmental breed. Like any sire, he doesn’t fit every cow, but when he does, it can lead to significant industry benefits. He consistently passes on hoof quality, skeletal substance, length, frame, and muscle. His sons are consistent in WDA, and his daughters are proving to have the necessary milk and maternal instinct for production. We understand that these traits may not win banners, but they are crucial for the 99% of the industry that relies on functional cattle to stay profitable.

• Lot 10 is from a full sister to RP/B C R Eminence H005 and Rocking P Private Stock H010. She is sound in her build, bold in her body shape, and goes on an impeccable set of running gear.

• Heirloom genetics are strongly evident in this February donor prospect as she links two influential females, both averaging 18 years of age. LLSF Urababydoll U194 and STF Onyx 451W have produced daughters and sons that will influence the Simmental breed for generations. We believe that N002 will keep the torch burning once she enters production.

• The older donor dams had more width and substance to them and N002 is a prime example of what that portrays. She is set wide and genuine at the surface and compiles that advantage as one studies her through her chest floor and center body. This female is big ended, stout legged, and blessed with collected skeletal quality when set into motion.

• A true donor prospect with the phenotype needed to compete at any level, just like her maternal granddam did, as she is the ONLY back-to-back Grand Champion Purebred Female of the NAILE Simmental Open Show.

We believe that most of the general public shopping for SimGenetic open cattle have put aside the prospective replacement value so many of the open heifers have that are marketed throughout the country. Cattle like lot 25 are the kind that are most definitely dual purpose and has the credentials to produce one better than she is in production.

• We absolutely love the balance, symmetry, and significant center body that the daughter of STAG Independence 110 has to offer. Her pen presence is that of a proud, high tying brood cow with a great hip and hindleg.

• A SimGenetic female with a shot more shape and substance from a proven cow family of the Bloomberg program of Illinois.

• 096N not only combines two sires of different breeds with many National Champions to their direct service, but an Angus cow family tied to several high sellers and champions as well.

• Seldom Rest Pin Up Gal is a key foundation for Michigan’s Seldom Rest Angus program. She consistently adds style, balance, symmetry, and quality to every hoof she produces. The donor has contributed to over a million dollars in lifetime earnings, and her daughters, like the paternal dam of this outstanding prospect, continue the legacy of quality and earning potential.

• The head and neck design would be unmatched and appealing, as her high ear set and chiseled features set her apart from most of the competition.

• Of the pair of sisters, we think N110 has the slight advantage in terms of center body shape and is slightly more flexible in her spine and looser hinged on the go.

• This female comes with the same high ear set and feminine skull design that’s consistent with the cow family. She too, is clean chested, tidy about her throatline, and is set high in her neck/shoulder junction.

• Their dam is a star in the donor pen as you turn the pages in this sale book and find that she impacts most of the Purebred Angus offering as well. Buy with confidence in the maternal and earning potential this pair of sisters have to their own.

• We introduce the Angus division, where we left off in the SimGenetic division with the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show Senior Calf Champion and proven Angus donor dam, Wallace Lucy 8132. 8132 has been a very important piece of the puzzle here at B C R, and that’s not changing anytime soon as her cattle continue to rise to the top each calving season.

• This April show prospect is the head turning kind as she ties ideally from her smoothly laid in shoulder and transitions into a big center rib design while setting down on a bit more substance of bone than her contemporaries.

• We appreciate her flexibility of skeleton with utmost strength to her spine and a level pin set. If you’re slightly undecided on what’s to come from this young prospect, then take a look at her big sister that’s offered as lot 30 and see what the short-term future has in store.

• The team at Buck Creek Ranch is more than confident in the herd sires that they have bred and acquired over the past few years, and rightfully so as we introduce four full sisters sired by STAG Independence 110 from the Wallace Lucy 8132 donor.

• We find this individual elevated in her chest floor, clean and proud in her high arching neck design, with a desired angle to her shoulder. She is also a high volumed prospect with defined shape and substance.

• This April sister among the quadrant of siblings is flexible in her build, deep and bold in her rib, and leaves you with plenty of width from end to end.

• The double shot of PVF Insight 0129 shines through this May prospect!

• She is sharp in her lines, chiseled about her skull, sculpted in her high attaching neck, smooth in her shoulder, bold in her upper rib with the pin width and back shape that’s expected from the genetic equation.

• The value of the influence of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 in the show cattle circles is recognized through his ability to sire cattle that are eccentric in their design, specifically bone and how they are made through their head, neck, and said attachments.

• You can find those traits to be true to “sire” influence as one studies this high-end prospect from the productive Wallace Lucy 8132.

• She sets the bar for quality through her front third with an ideal rib cage design, a stout hip, and a great hind leg. This prospect is built for the fast track, do not shy away on investment day.

• A second daughter and full sister from the CLF 24 Karat 29K herd sire from the potent 8132!

• This female does replicate her dam from her center body design and functional hind leg. However, she doesn’t shy too far away from her sire’s influence as she is very sharp featured and high set in her neck and shoulder design.

• Her sire is a clear outlier in power, size, and shape, defying his pedigree lines. He was the best offered by the Bayer Family that year when Buck Creek acquired him, significantly impacting the program and attracting those seeking Angus cattle with superior phenotype.

PUREBRED SIMMENTALS

• This is one of the very best sets of bred cattle offered by the youthful Yale, Oklahoma operation. The group is saturated with quality and genetics that are noticed in genetic ledgers nationwide.

• M086 is a direct daughter of the female maker, OMF Epic E27. He has been utilized as a calving ease option for years, but his most notable contribution to the business can be found within his daughters in production. Besides their moderate, dense, square, consistent build, the udder quality and sheer fertility are recognized, and their longevity in production is seemingly unmatched.

• Saturated in maternal prowess, this “Jestress” cow family member sets herself apart as one studies her huge center body, density, bone, and shape from end to end. Her kind screams production and low input efficiency, sure she may not be the most elite about her head and neck, but from her shoulder back is where profit is actually turned!

• CBAR BD Sara 927W, the second maternal dam of M009, was bred by one of the greatest cowboys known to the Simmental breed. Bill Couch bred cattle not only to look good, but to have more rib and shape than what could be found anywhere else. He started with the very best Angus female and developed the C-Bar brand 2.0 after his time with Express Ranches.
