Primary Schools

From Early Years through Primary, Kinteract enables staff to digitally record observations and achievements for each child and carry out evidencebased Teachersassessments.cansharekey moments of achievement with parents and communicate directly. Giving parents access from home allows them to share out of school achievements with the school giving a holistic learning record. All learning matters, within the curriculum and beyond.

"The Kinteract app allows our Nursery and Primary school staff to immediately record observations of individual pupils and classes across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile, National Curriculum and Catholic Education Services Age Related Standards in Religious Education. Using Kinteract as our assessment system has allowed us to measure the implementation and impact of the St Joseph’s curriculum.

Parents are able to respond to these observations, giving them a greater link to their child’s education. Recorded observations support staff when making summative assessments – and the reporting system allows Senior Management to monitor attainment and progress from Nursery to Year 6, by year group or groups of pupils –identifying positive results and any areas that require improvement."

Inclusion

Kinteract is focused on the current requirements for tracking individual learning plans which include EHCP, and any bespoke care plans in place for individual learners. This covers not only how plans are tracked, but also how parents and carers are continually updated with student progression.

For second language learners, our built-in language features provide easy access as they settle into their new environment, with no learning time lost and enhancing the sense of security provided by the school.

Kinteract provides students with a voice, giving them a sense of independence and a feeling of pride where they have control of what they post, both in and out of school, including any social milestones which they’ve achieved. This also allows teachers or parents to comment and add to their progression.
