As the world continues to evolve, so too does the landscape of education. We live in a time of rapid technological advancement and global interconnectedness (you’ll find an NVIDIA laptop buyers’ guide within these pages). In this era, learning extends beyond the classroom walls, and the skills we cultivate extend far beyond the academic realm. The tools we provide ourselves with today will shape the world we navigate tomorrow. This back-to-school edition is a testament to the belief that education equips us not just with knowledge, but with the ability to adapt, innovate, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
So, whether your child is stepping onto campus for the first time or returning with a wealth of experience, let this supplement be your companion and your source of inspiration. As the pages unfold, may you find wisdom in the words, camaraderie in the shared experiences, and the motivation to embrace this new chapter with open minds and open hearts.

OPENING OF NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ABU DHABI
Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi has announced the opening of its state-of-the-art campus, heralding the beginning of a new chapter in the realm of international education, where innovation, global perspectives, and academic excellence converge.
Commenting on the opening of Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi, Liam Cullinan, Executive Principal, said: “We welcome the future leaders to NAS Abu Dhabi, the most curious, creative, and compassionate young people who are taking their first step into this wonderful learning space. As Willy Wonka said: “If you want to change the world, there’s nothing to it”. Our aim at NAS Abu Dhabi is to allow our young people to recognise the impact they can have on the world and to give them the skills, the confidence, and the opportunity to do it.”
GCSES: IGNITING POTENTIAL, IGNORING LIMITS
Receiving GCSE results is a significant event that symbolises the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. It’s a moment that encapsulates a range of emotions. Regardless of the grades received, it’s crucial to recognise that these results do not define a person’s worth or potential. Rather, they serve as markers of progress and opportunities for growth, guiding students toward their aspirations and dreams. In 2023, students from the following schools have enjoyed particular success.
BRIGHTON COLLEGE
Brighton College Abu Dhabi is celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results with pupils securing almost 300 top Grade 9s.
The College’s pupils have exceeded themselves this year and have achieved exceptional results with 31% of pupils scoring Grade 9s, 51% of pupils achieving Grade 9 – 8 (A*), 71% of pupils awarded Grade 9 – 7 (A*-A), 87% Grade 9-6 (A* –B) and 95% Grade 9-5 (A* -B/C).
The success of Brighton College Abu Dhabi pupils extends across a wide range of subjects. Notably, pupils excelled in STEM subjects, demonstrating their prowess and passion in these areas. In further mathematics, the pupils achieved 94% Grade 9-7 with 50% achieving a Grade 9 and in computer science, 81% of Grades were 9-7. Furthermore, in the sciences, 80% of Grades were 9-7.
Meanwhile, at Brighton College Dubai pupils achieved outstanding GCSE results for the third year in a row. This year all subjects were awarded numerical grades, with Grade 9 being the highest. Given how few of these were awarded worldwide, Brighton College Dubai is particularly delighted that 21% of the College’s grades secured this top-level at Grade 9. In addition, 76% of all entries have been awarded Grades 9-6, which is ‘Outstanding’ under the KHDA framework.
The highest grades in the College were awarded to Henry Fliss - a staggering 9 Grade 9s. Given the well-publicised reduction in the awarding of the top GCSE grades this year and a wellreported reduction in grade boundaries moving back to 2019 levels, this is a first-class set of results for the chess and cricket champion.
REPTON FAMILY OF SCHOOLS
The Repton Family of Schools in the UAE is celebrating its students’ exceptional performances in the 2023 GCSE examinations, reflecting its dedication, commitment, and passion towards achieving academic excellence.
Repton Abu Dhabi is proud to announce its students’ achievements with a 97% overall student pass rate of 9-4 (A*-C) in this year’s GCSE examinations. 56% of exam entries achieved Grades 9-7 (A*-A). The 2022 - 2023 cohort has also surpassed last year’s results, with 37% of exam entries awarded the maximum Grade 9-8 (A*), in comparison to 30% in 2022.
Over at Repton Dubai, they were celebrating praiseworthy academic performances for the 14th consecutive year, with 41% of exam entries awarded 9-8 (A*) Grades and 65% achieving 9-7 (A*-A) Grades, while securing an overall student pass rate of 97%.

It’s a juncture that demands thoughtful consideration, as it sets the direction for a young person’s future. Whatever route is taken, though, we at Education UAE wish each and every one of you a bright, enjoyable, and successful future!

On average pupils achieved almost two whole grades higher than their expected progress upon joining the College (the so-called ‘Value Added’ measure of performance).
Brighton College Dubai now follows in the footsteps of its sister schools in

A SINGLE CHAPTER IN A LIFE STORY
In the grand tapestry of life, A-level results are but a single thread. They teach that success is not always linear, and setbacks can be catalysts for unexpected triumphs.
SUCCESS AT THE ENGLISH COLLEGE, DUBAI
Excellent A-level results are a testament to dedication, diligence, and intellectual prowess. They represent the pinnacle of academic achievement, a reflection of the extraordinary effort and commitment put forth by students. And nowhere is this more true than at English College, Dubai, where the cohort of 95 students entering for the A-level qualification achieved a pass rate of 99%, incorporating A*: 7%; A*A: 33%; A*B: 65%; and A*C: 89%.
Joy spills over as some find themselves surpassing expectations, their dreams materialising before their eyes. However, for others, the moment may be tinged with disappointment. The gap between anticipation and reality can feel like an unbridgeable chasm. Yet, even in those moments, there’s a chance to reflect on the journey, to realise that these results do not solely define one’s capabilities. They are a single chapter in a life story filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.
So, from everyone at Education UAE, we would like to congratulate all students on what has been a very hard and challenging period of study, and wish you all the best of luck wherever life takes you in the future!

TINY STEPS, GIANT WORLD: NURSERY AWAITS!
There are many ways that you can help your child get ready for nursery, with the following just a few of the key skills you can practice together at home.
Ensure your little one can follow simple instructions, such as putting away a toy.
Make sure your child can ask simple questions and communicate in sentences.
Play catch with a large ball.
Hold and use pencils, crayons, or paintbrushes to make marks.
Carry out different types of movement, such as hopping and jumping.
Use a spoon to eat and a cup to drink.
Ensure your children can go to the toilet on their own and then wash and dry their hands.
Put on a coat and shoes.
Discuss stories you’ve read together.
Play counting and number games.
Talk about what you see in the world around you.
Sing songs together.
Play make-believe.
It is important to ask your child direct questions too, allowing them to express their opinions.
Ask them what they really enjoy doing and why?
Which are their favourite toys and games – again, find out why?
What do they enjoy doing with the family?
What is their favourite bedtime story – what do they like about it?
Ask them to sing their favourite nursery rhyme.
How are they feeling about going to nursery?
What are they looking forward to?
These are just initial ideas to help get kids ready for their big adventure, but no matter how you decide to approach it, make sure that your children are involved, excited, and ready to explore a whole new world!
CHOOSING YOUR CHILD’S HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Keep in mind that every child is a one-off, so the best nursery for one child might not be the same for another. Take your child’s personality, needs, and preferences into account when making your choice. It’s a good idea to visit several nurseries, ask questions, and get together as much information as possible before making a decision.
RESEARCH: Begin by investigating nurseries in your neighbourhood. You can use online resources, parent forums, and word-of-mouth recommendations to draw together a list of possible options.
LOCATION: Think about the locality of the nursery. It should be convenient for you to drop off and pick up your child.
VISIT THE NURSERY: Arrange visits to the nurseries on your list. This will allow you to observe the environment, facilities and staff personally. See how the staff interacts with the youngsters and get a feel for the general ambiance of the nursery.
HEALTH AND SAFETY: Make sure that the nursery follows precise health and safety regulations. Consider whether the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and that proper hygiene practices are carried out.
STAFF QUALIFICATIONS: Ask about the qualifications and experience of the staff members. They should have pertinent childcare training and familiarity working with little children.
RATIO OF STAFF TO CHILDREN: Inspect the staff-tochild ratio, which is the number of children per staff member. A lower ratio guarantees that each child is given sufficient care and attention.
CURRICULUM AND ACTIVITIES: Query the curriculum and activities at the nursery. A good nursery should deliver a balance of structured learning, playtime, creative activities, and open-air time.
LEARNING APPROACH: Be familiar with the nursery’s approach to early childhood education. Some nurseries may stick to a play-based approach, while others may have a more defined curriculum. Pick a nursery that aligns with your preferences and values.
PARENT-TEACHER COMMUNICATION: Find out how the nursery stays in touch with parents. Regular updates, progress reports, and opportunities to talk over your child’s development are essential.
INCLUSIVITY: Establish whether the nursery encourages inclusivity and diversity. A welcoming environment that respects diverse cultures, backgrounds, and needs is indispensable for a positive experience.
MEALS AND SNACKS: If the nursery offers meals and snacks, enquire about their menu and nutrition standards. Make certain that they accommodate any dietary restrictions your child might have.
FACILITY CLEANLINESS: Look for a hygienic and orderly environment. This includes clean toys, correctly maintained restrooms, and spick-and-span play areas.
PARENT REVIEWS: Read appraisals and testimonials from other parents who have used the nursery. Their experiences can provide priceless insights into what to expect.
COST: Take into account the cost of the nursery and whether it fits within your financial plan. Bear in mind that higher cost doesn’t always equate to superior quality, so give precedence to finding a nursery that offers value for money.
GUT FEELING: Trust your instincts. Take note of how you feel during the visit. If something doesn’t
feel right, it may well be worth looking at other options.
WAITLIST AND AVAILABILITY: Some popular nurseries could have waiting lists. Ask about availability and the procedure for enrolment.
LICENSING AND ACCREDITATION: Ensure that the nursery is licensed and accredited by the relevant authorities. This makes sure that they meet specific quality and safety standards.
FLEXIBILITY: Reflect on the nursery’s flexibility in terms of hours of operation, drop-off and pick-up times, and any possible modifications that might be required.
Keep in mind that every child is a oneoff, so the best nursery for one child might not be the same for another. Take your child’s personality, needs, and preferences into account when making your choice. It’s a good idea to visit several nurseries, ask questions, and get together as much information as possible before making a decision.
Take into account the cost of the nursery and whether it fits within your financial plan

We welcome children from 4-12, with age-appropriate challenges that place enquiry, critical thinking, and independence at their core. Each Award will include a series of citizenship and life skills written to encourage being a valued member of society and new skill development. World challenges are included to ensure children learn more about the customs and culture of the country they are currently living in as well as valuing their own home traditions. Our community challenges are written by a team of experts in their industry or field of expertise. For example, George Peterkin from Mind Your Health Ltd., has crafted a series of mental health challenges for children to work through.
The team from Tuu, the only sustainable school tracking group, has crafted unique challenges to encourage enquiry and responsibility linked to sustainability at home and in the community, ideal for the countdown to COP 28 and the Year of Sustainability in the UAE.
Finally, each school will be able to craft two bespoke challenges linked to their own School Improvement Plan (SIP). The SIP challenges will be assigned to all children in each year group with the GSSA team supporting each school in differentiating the language for year groups.
This will give valuable evidence for any school to prove action taken on two key priorities linked to their school improvement. A portfolio of evidence will be accessible upon request at important times such as the end of terms, governors’ meetings, or inspections. There are also additional options such as National Agenda - Cultural identity tasks and BSO ‘Britishness’ activities. Again, these will generate a whole school evidence portfolio.

Bloom World Academy offers a premium education which fully embraces the individuality of each child with a personalised learning journey through a robust academic curriculum. The school’s commitment to ‘dare to do things differently’ makes it the ideal choice for parents who are looking for more than the typical educational experience for their child.
WHY CHOOSE BLOOM WORLD ACADEMY?
A FLEXIBLE SCHOOL DAY THAT WORKS FOR YOU
The later start time of 9am has proved immensely popular with parents, who say: ‘there’s no mad rush to start the day’, ‘the added sleep has been a major advantage to our kid’s health, happiness and wellbeing’. As well as honouring young people’s natural sleep cycles, the later start time optimises productivity throughout the school day and offers benefits for overall wellbeing and physical health.
To allow learning to be fully in balance with family life, the school also provides the option of wraparound care from 7:00am to 9:00am and 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with an extensive selection of co-curricular activities (included within school fees) such as sports, Arts and homework clubs.
A CUSTOMISED EDUCATION FOR EVERY CHILD
Every young person is a unique learner at Bloom World Academy. The Learning Achievement Passport which is provided to every child puts in place a personalised timetable, sets goals, maps progress, and is reviewed collectively and openly with parents and students every month.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
The dynamic and student-centric curriculum has been built on the concept of ‘stage not age’ to ensure that children progress and develop their learning based on aptitude, interests and abilities, not solely on age or academic year.
The school is organised into learning zones; distinct and specialised areas where students of all ages can be immersed in facilities and resources to enhance their learning experience.
A THRIVING PARENT COMMUNITY
Parents are truly part of the community in a school which does not pay lip-service to the idea of an ‘open door’. Every Friday, parents are welcome at the Friday Family Forum to celebrate students’ achievements, and Ben’s Farmhouse Café offers a space for working and socializing throughout the week. Weekly workshops offer learning experiences in topics from languages to curriculum support and monthly Progress Reviews allow parents to talk openly and regularly with teachers about their child’s learning journey.
John Bell PrincipalWe are a school which has the highest expectations and standards for all of our community; a school in which adults are great role models who cherish the creative and innovative, a school which genuinely embraces differences by customising, stretching and supporting the learning journey of each and every child and young person, Our guarantee is to deliver the very best education we can to ensure each and every child will be as academically successful, socially happy and emotionally attuned and resilient as they can be. This ambition is based on some very clear and considered values that govern the way Bloom World Academy teaches our students every single day.

Chris Nourse Executive Principal5 TIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO EMOTIONALLY PREPARE FOR UNIVERSITY LIFE
As the start of a new academic year draws closer, many students will be making the transition from high school to university abroad. An exciting prospect for students to make new friends, gain more maturity, and turn something they are truly passionate about into a career. However, it can also present some nerves for students, as they move away from their homes and support system, meet new people, and adapt to a new learning environment. It can often feel overwhelming trying to juggle all of these at once, so St. George’s University (SGU) School of Medicine Grenada, in the Caribbean shares five tips for students to cope with these changes.
1MAKE A PLAN TO STAY CONNECTED
Students may miss their high school community when they start university life. That’s why it is important for them to stay connected with their social circle, family, and friends. Setting up WhatsApp groups in advance of leaving can help them stay in touch and keep up to date with one another. Equally as important is staying connected to themselves and being in touch with their own emotions. Therefore, journaling about personal experiences and expressing the feelings that accompany these events is always better than bottling them up.
2BE ORGANISED
Being organised can help students adapt more smoothly to their new surroundings and responsibilities. For example, students can more efficiently plan what they would like to do during the first week on campus if they have organised their agenda in advance. This habit will also help them plan other areas in their life, such as organising their schedule to know when to study and when to take time out.
3DON’T MAKE A COMPARISON TO OTHER STUDENTS
Students going to university might find themselves thinking that other people are able to manage the transition better than them, but this can be detrimental to their confidence and well-being. All students will have come from different backgrounds and it’s important that students focus on their own goals and progress. Having a healthy personal perspective can help manage those pre-university nerves.
4CONNECT WITH PEERS GOING TO THE SAME UNIVERSITY
It is always a good idea for students to connect with the cohort that is
planning to go to the same university before the academic year starts. It will help enhance the student’s overall experience and ease the transition into a new academic environment. Building a network of friends even before arriving could give a sense of belonging and support as students embark on this exciting journey together.
5LEARN HOW TO RELAX
Learning how to relax will not only help students as they psychologically prepare themselves to start university, but it will also help during stressful exam periods and in other aspects of life they may encounter in the future. Practicing relaxation techniques such as mindfulness, yoga, meditation, muscle relaxation exercises, deep breathing, and mental or guided imagery could help students focus on being calm and thinking clearly.
To summarise, some students might find the transition from high school to university life stressful, especially if it involves travelling abroad. However, there are ways in which students can cope with the anticipation of making new friends, academic pressures, and leaving familiar support systems behind. If students still find themselves looking for guidance, they can check if their university has specialised departments offering support to international students that may be missing home. For example, SGU has a dedicated Global Students Lounge that provides cultural adjustment support, a peer mentoring programme, and other activities for international students to help them fit into university life.

ROUTINE: BUILDING BLOCKS OF A FULFILLING LIFE
Routine is beneficial to children because it provides them with a sense of predictability in their life. Putting a back-to-school schedule in place allows children to feel secure, particularly with new activities occurring, new patterns emerging, and new habits forming as children grow. When kids have regular habits in place, they can handle these changes with less stress.
Explain the routines to your children
How many activities are too many?
Here are a few routine-setting tips to consider:
1 Explain the routines to your children. To ensure they have understood, have them repeat the routines back to you.
2 Display a chart on the wall. A visual representation of your daily routines can assist everyone in the household in understanding what needs to happen and when.
3 Maintain consistency. Even if you’re weary or overwhelmed as a parent, stick to your routines as much as possible.
4 Make desired activities the most appealing option. If you wish to include new activities into your routine, such as eating fruit as a bedtime snack, make those activities the most enticing options at the time.
Slowly introduce new habits
5 Plan ahead of time to restrict your decision-making in the heat of the moment. For example, keep a variety of healthy snack alternatives on hand to make it easier to get nourishment on the go.
6 Slowly introduce one or two new habits over time. Making little changes to your family’s routine will give you the best opportunity of creating long-lasting, beneficial patterns.
One of the most important routines is in the morning, and should go something like this:
1 Wake up at the same time every day
2 Go to the bathroom
3 Sit down for breakfast
4 Clean up the breakfast dishes
5 Brush teeth
6 Put on school clothes
Finally, bedtime is key for incorporating a workable routine into a child’s life and can be one of the hardest transitions, with youngsters possibly accustomed to going to sleep later and/or waking up later during the summer.
Consequently, consider the following points:
1 Provide clear expectations and simple step-by-step instructions, praising your child at the completion of each step.
2 Visual reminders can help your child have something to refer to as she goes about her routine.
3
Most kids want more time watching their favourite TV show or finishing that last level of a video game, so setting time limits is a great way to create boundaries.
Putting in the effort to assist your child in developing positive routines now can help them create go-to healthy habits that they will have in their back pocket for the rest of their lives.
After school, extra-curricular activities are a great way for children to get active, socialise, and discover something new, but how many activities are too many?
There is no right answer to this, but the key thing is to ask yourself whether your child’s extracurricular activities are negatively affecting their life.
So consider:
1 Can they still get all of their homework?
2 Do they still have leisure time to spend with their friends?
3 Do they get at least eight hours of sleep every night?
If not, it’s probably time to dial back the scheduled activities.
Provide clear expectations and simple step-by-step instructions, praising your child at the completion of each step.

As Horton Interiors has a standalone team of the best interior designers in Dubai, quality assured fit-out team, and dedicated project managers, we can deliver your project from inception to occupation without compromising creativity, quality, or time management.
This is often the preferred route for clients as it has several benefits and advantages over the traditional method of appointing designers and fit-out teams separately. The most obvious benefit of choosing the Design & Build pathway is having one centralised team to deal with. Communication is straightforward, and responsibilities are not shared, which can reduce the overall risk of your project.
Making History
We are proud to have completed the design and build of Middlesex University’s new Dubai International Academic City campus, which made history as the first time an international university in Dubai would offer a multi-site experience across both of the city’s international higher educational hubs.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a critical consideration for any design and build firm as it directly impacts environmental, social, and economic factors. We incentivize all of our design team members to become LEED, WELL, or Estidama certified. And our sustainability policy covers sustainable procurement methods, ways to tackle waste management, how to reduce carbon footprint, how to reduce water and energy consumption, how to monitor and control indoor air quality, and continued training on sustainability procedures.
A Creative and Energetic Team
We are a team of young, multicultural, creative, and energetic professionals, and to us, multiculturalism means richness. Diversity and interaction boost creativity, and combining different perspectives increases problem-solving skills. It also helps us to connect with the many clients we work with. Everyone is encouraged to communicate openly, which helps to increase confidence and motivates people to share new ideas.

The Data
There have been numerous studies conducted to explore the benefits of technology in the classroom for both students and teachers, with a number based on the data provided by Renaissance. That is one of the reasons why we are really well placed when it comes to helping teachers in schools and ministries identify learning gaps: we have a huge data lake, which we have been enriching over decades and it really helps us to pinpoint where the challenges are, and that allows educators to make key decisions quickly.

International Teachers’ Olympiad (ITO), the largest multinational Olympiad for teacher growth & recognition, has revealed the dates for its second annual edition of the global initiative. With over 2000 registrations and 13 winners from the UAE recognised within the Top 100 category last year, ITO hopes to encourage more teachers from the UAE to register for ITO 2023. Organised by Suraasa, an ed-tech platform for teachers, ITO provides a platform for teachers from across the world to receive well-deserved recognition, professional development guidance, international exposure, and cash rewards. Registrations for ITO 2023 are now open and can be completed online via HERE at a nominal registration fee of AED 25.
After a successful edition in 2022, ITO 2023 is expected to attract over 300,000 teachers from over 10,000 schools across over 80+ countries. The 2023 Olympiad will be held on 7 October 2023, where registered teachers will undergo a one-hour assessment. Based on their performance, they receive a confidential pedagogy report highlighting their strengths and opportunities. They also receive growth plans for the next six months, which act as a roadmap to track their progress, guiding them toward becoming even more effective educators.
In 2022, the initiative witnessed registrations from over 68,000+ teachers from 5,500+ schools across 30+ countries, and cash prizes of AED 100,000 were distributed to the top teachers. The 2023 edition promises to be even more rewarding, with total cash prizes up to AED 150,000 up for grabs. In addition to the cash prizes, all participants of the Olympiad will also receive access to 30 hours of Live Certified Masterclasses and Growth Plans for 6 Pedagogy Areas worth AED 950.
Rishabh Khanna, Founder and CEO of Suraasa said, “Empowering educators lies at the heart of our mission, and we are thrilled to announce the opening dates for registration of the 2023 International Teachers’ Olympiad. As we prepare to welcome passionate teachers from across the UAE, GCC and the world, we are committed to fostering a platform that celebrates innovation, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence in education. The International Teachers’ Olympiad is not just an assessment, but a celebration of the tireless dedication that teachers invest in
shaping the minds of tomorrow. We invite all teachers to join us on this extraordinary journey, where we unite as a community to inspire, learn and discover our true potential.”
Sailaja Kazhankolil, a school teacher from a reputed Private School in Dubai and one of the Top 100 winners from ITO 2022, said, “Participating with the sole purpose of finding out where I stand as an educator was a rewarding experience. I firmly believe that all teachers should consider taking part in such initiatives. It allows us to gain insights into our teaching skills and identify areas for improvement, fostering continuous growth in our profession.”
In addition to the benefits for individual teachers, ITO also benefits schools in the UAE and the wider GCC region. The schools of participating teachers will receive a supplemental report detailing the overall teaching competencies of their school. The report will also highlight the areas of professional development for each school that require more attention. This data-driven approach to professional development will assist schools and teachers in enhancing the quality of education provided by their institutions.

Similar to a flexible monthly membership with Netflix or any other subscription-based model, with no deposit and no long-term commitment, the invygo car subscription provides the last word in convenience and flexibility. Indeed, renewing monthly with the ability to cancel at any time, it is the ideal solution for both teachers and parents now that school is back in session, with cars available to pick up when required and returned when necessary, particularly useful during the holidays when travel is often on the cards.
At first glance, it may appear that traditional rental and subscription are very alike, but there is a significant difference: rentals are often limited to a few days or weeks, whereas with a subscription it is possible to keep the vehicle for months if desired, or handed back when the time is right for the customer, not the company. Rentals offer limited options, while subscriptions
allow you to pick the exact car you want, including its make, model, specifications, and even colour. Most importantly, subscriptions involve no security deposit, while a deposit is usually mandatory with traditional rentals.
So how does it all work? The process with invygo is super-easy and hassle-free. Just download the invygo app, sign up, upload
your Emirates ID and driver’s license, choose your car, and pay with your card –it’s as easy as ordering food with an app.
It’s not just the car you get either; it’s a whole package of benefits, including insurance, maintenance, roadside assistance, mileage allowance, and even delivery.
JOURNEY WITH EASE
You may be wondering who invygo are? Well, the company was founded in 2018 and is co-headquartered in Dubai and Riyadh. It is the first car subscription app of its kind in the region, with invygo’s philosophy being simple: make getting a car hassle-free, with no deposit and no long-term commitment. In short, make cars accessible for everyone, no matter their income or social status.
invygo expanded its operations into Saudi Arabia in 2021, serving all of the major cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Mecca, Taif, KAEC, and Yanbu. The company has also launched its services in Qatar this year.
EMBRACE THE OPEN ROAD
The minimum subscription period is just one month, but there are also 3, 6, and 9-month subscription plans, which offer a much lower monthly fee than subscribing for just one month. The longer you subscribe, the more you save. The choice is yours!
There is a wide variety of cars available too, from SUVs and sedans to compact cars from well-known brands. All cars are dealershipcertified and in excellent condition, and if you want to swap to a different vehicle after your first month, you can – it’s that flexible.
So how do you get the ball rolling? Just like everything else with invygo, it couldn’t be easier. Simply download the invygo app and get your car in a few taps!

DEMAND FOR EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES AND SOLUTIONS INCREASE AS NUMBER
OF INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS IN THE MIDDLE EAST REACHES A RECORD HIGH
The Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) Dubai is returning for its highly anticipated 16th edition from 30 October to 1 November 2023, at Za’abeel Halls, Dubai World Trade Centre. At the largest education exhibition in the Middle East region, the focus will be on supporting the demand of the growing number of international schools in the Middle East which has reached a record high of 2,068 in 2023. The event aims to equip these educators with the best tools to succeed in shaping the education landscape for over 1.9 million students in the region.
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS GROWTH UNVEILED
According to data compiled by ISC Research exclusively for GESS Dubai, the last decade has witnessed a substantial 54.6% increase in the number of international schools worldwide, rising from 8,771 schools in January 2013 to 13,564 schools in January 2023. Among continents, Europe accounts for 14.3% of the global international school market, while Asia takes the lead with around 57.1% of the market share and 64.1% of student enrolment.
Within Asia, Western Asia, which encompasses the Middle East excluding Egypt, stands out as a hub of international education with 2,068 institutions.
The UAE, at the forefront of this educational wave, boasts 769 international schools, or a significant 37% of the total. As of January 2023, the region is home to 1.9 million students attending international schools, reflecting a 7.9% increase over the past five years.
FACTORS DRIVING GROWTH
Several factors have contributed to this remarkable growth in international education within Western Asia. These include a surge in expatriate populations from China, Russia, and Ukraine, and those from South and Southeast Asian countries; the return of Western expatriate professionals since the pandemic; and rising numbers of Saudi nationals opting for international
schools, driven by young parents who have experienced international education themselves. In the UAE’s city of Dubai, with a population that is expected to almost double within 20 years, these schools are being located to support distinct community suburbs that are emerging as the city continues to expand.
