I Can Help Care For The World Around Me
We know that we receive more than vitamins and nutrients when we eat. We taste, we talk, we share, and we learn about each other and the world around us. Mealtimes at The Nest are used as valuable times to promote language skills, life skills, self-awareness, health, and social skills. We serve children varied, child-friendly menus with whole food and fresh food offerings as a regular part of our daily breakfast, lunch, and snack service.

January is a time of fresh beginnings and renewed intentions. While many of us set personal goals for health, career, or self-improvement, it’s also the perfect time to reflect on our parenting journey and set goals that nurture stronger family bonds, encourage growth, and bring more joy into everyday life.
This blog goes through many ways to approach parenting resolutions such as: mindful parenting, prioritizing family time, communication, and more!
You will also find two worksheets that will help you set these resolutions though exploring your thoughts and feelings about parenting and self care.

Charlie and her family are raising awareness for alopecia, and something even more important to her. “We wanted to also bring in the kindness factor. It’s not all just about the disease of alopecia and alopecia awareness. It’s mostly kindness in general. And that’s what’s important to us,” said Charlie’s mom, Ashley Thompson.

“The teachers and staff are wonderful! My kid gets excited about going into daycare everyday because of them. They're very welcoming and answer all of our questions. We get updates throughout the day on how our child is doing, so I know my child is well taken care of. We are so grateful to have found The Nest.”

“The Nest School in Mansfield! The sense of inclusion and family-like atmosphere truly sets it apart. My daughter looks forward to coming every day and often doesn’t want to leave. The teachers are incredible, and I’m beyond grateful for the care and attention they give her— they go above and beyond in ways I can’t fully express. The administration is also outstanding— communication is always clear, and they’re quick to address any concerns I may have. I truly couldn’t ask for a better school, and I’m always recommending The Nest to everyone in Mansfield!”
