Welcome to Buddy’s Book Review!
A review of our favorite children’s books here at The Nest Schools. We thoroughly believe in the power of literature, and we are excited to introduce wonderful new children’s books to our families in hopes that they will expand their own home libraries as we expand our own!
How do we review and rate each book?
We rate in terms of its likeness to our core values: KINDNESS, WELLNESS, INNOVATION, and FUN. Five feathers will be given for the core value we think each book best represents.

A heartwarming and inspiring book that introduces the power of kindness, compassion, and empathy. I appreciate how caring and kind the staff and teachers are. My biggest fear with putting our toddler into daycare, was that he might feel lonely and sad but I know that at The Nest, the teachers or staff will hold and cuddle him if he’s feeling sad and bring him into activities with his peers so that he won’t feel lonely. That is such a huge relief to know that our kiddos are well taken care of!

When children achieve something new, no matter how small, celebrating their efforts teaches them to be kind to themselves and others. At The Nest Schools, our programs such as The Art of Living incorporate everyday tasks that build self-reliance and consideration for others.
Recognizing milestones is also essential for emotional and physical wellness. In our Fit Buddies program, children engage in activities like yoga and movement exercises to foster both their physical and emotional well-being.
