Sample Kindness Calendar List:
Your family will find ways to complete and observe kindness tasks throughout the month. The goal is to do kind things, notice kind things, or appreciate kind things happening around you. The kindness calendar can be filled out at home, in your neighborhood, or even while running errands together. You can print the list, make a poster, or mark your family calendar each time an act of kindness is completed or observed.

A special way for your family to mix kindness with creativity in the kitchen. Kindness Kebabs—a colorful, customizable snack that children can make for others as a way to express love and appreciation.

Instructions: Ingredients: Kindness Kebobs
Apple slices
Bananas
Cheese cubes
Cucumber rounds
Kiwi
1.Prep the ingredients together, using this time to chat about kindness and what it means to your family.
2.Have each child choose a family member to make a kebab for.
3.As they choose each ingredient, ask them to explain why they picked that food or color.
“I picked red because you’re brave.”
“I added banana because you make me laugh.”
4.Once all kebabs are made, gather and exchange with each other. Enjoy your snack—and the smiles that come with it! 8

Kindness for Walter Kindness for Walter
The Nest Schools of Avon selected “Love-A-Stray Dog Division” as their KindNEST Charitable Partner for 2025— and their generosity is already making a difference. During their visit to present the donation, they met Walter, a sweet puppy with a condition called carpal laxity that affects his ability to walk.
Thanks to this heartfelt gift, Walter will now receive the physical therapy he needs to grow stronger and live a happy, healthy life.
Olivia, Director of The Nest Schools of Avon, along with her team, chose “Love A Stray Dog Division” as their KindNEST Charitable Giving partner for 2025.
