What binds us together is this passion and this belief that a vehicle is more than just a mode of transportation; it’s an expression of who we are and what our business is, and in the simplest terms possible, our business is cool. And THAT is what this year’s Convention is going to be about.
With over 100 locations open, 100+ stores in development, and more multi-store owners than ever, our Tint World franchise has so much to celebrate and is getting down to business and not messing around! The Lowen team is working to complete the development of the Tint World web portal to request custom pricing quotes for vehicle graphics and store front windows. Car Wrap and Fleet Training – a 5-day training course for beginners to intermediate installers with half of the course focused on car wrap techniques and half focused on eet vehicle wraps like cargo vans, box trucks and trailers. This is an intensive training course – no testing, thus no certi cations. The installer would need to return to test for Lowen Certi cation and the 3M Preferred certi cations. Regular price: $2,250. D.) Car Wrap & Fleet Certi cation Only: a 2-day test for expert installers who have professional training as well as several months or years’ experience with graphics installation. This option is provided to installers who feel con dent enough with their experience to opt out of the three day training o ered in the aforementioned 5-day training and certi cation course. Only expert installers are recommended to take this test without the 3-day training. ARC Audio’s Latest Subwoofer Gains Momentum
is available in 10” and 12” sizes in both 2 – ohm or 4 –ohm con gurations. Both eh A- 10 and A – 12 only require 3.85” mounting depth and all models feature multi-point geometric basket/motor component resonation control which reduces losses found in a traditional subwoofer.
ARC Audio’s latest subwoofer, the A – Series, has started to gain momentum in the automotive aftermarket industry. The A – Series subwoofers were designed speci cally for applications with limited space that require a lower pro le than a standard subwoofer.

This is an EASY and repeatable process to help streamline your short and long-term marketing goals, which will absolutely lead to more sales. Adopting this process (even starting with a scannable QR code) will help alleviate some unnecessary pressure on your front-end salespeople and help with overall “work ow” e ciency.

Additionally, if you are Special Ordering Vehicle Speci c parts and are requiring a deposit, you can text and/or Email your client a direct weblink (or QR code) so they can complete the form for you. Which will also add to your Estimates column in your work ow.

For starters, you will need to make sure your “Work Request Form” is setup properly in Shop Monkey (see article on Using ShopMonkey As A Silent Salesperson by Robb Bagnall). Once you have created your work request form copy the web address/url by clicking on the “Copy URL” button.
Using the steps above simply nd the appropriate web address for your stores landing page for reviews (either Google or Facebook or both) and copy the URL so you can create a new QR code. Then show o your work! Below is an example of one in a waiting area that customers can scan and nd on Facebook.

Training and Tips on QR Codes
Next you will need to nd a QR code generator online. We recommend QR code Monkey as it’s free and pretty simple to use. https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/

Here you will paste the URL/Web address that you just copied from Shop Monkey into the “Your URL” bar on the QRcode-Monkey website. Once you are nished customizing your QR code, click on create QR code. In our example, we downloaded the QR code as a PDF le.
Training & Tips
In conclusion, it’s still better for you to have a shop tablet or check- in kiosk as you’re able to gather inspection pictures and videos as well as use it to take pictures before and after for social media. The method above, however, can be used when and if your tablet is down or you’re waiting to receive one. As for reviews, the easier you make it for the customer to leave you a review the more likely they will!
Now that you’ve mastered creating a QR code what else can you use them for? How about making it easier for customers to leave you a review? Or maybe connect with you on social media?
Now that you have the QR code, you can open it, print it, and stick it, on your sales tower! Now when your customers come in they can scan the code, with their device, and it will take them straight to the work request form. They ll out their information and once they are done, it will pop up in your work ow section of shop monkey. Now you can create their estimate and make an appointment, with no worries of having the proper contact information!
In this article we will go over how to put QR codes and the customer to work for you! This will help your shop run more e ciently and have fewer clerical issues when setting up new customers!
Our two main topics or uses of the QR code in this article will be: having a customer “check in” when they arrive at your shop and leaving a review as they leave your shop.
