Tint World’s Mid-Year Review and Vision For The Future A Message From Our CEO, Charles J. Bonfiglio
Dear Tint World Fran Fam,
As you know, we are a little over halfway through 2023 and I would like to share where we are as a franchise and how we are tracking to nish this year o strong.
I would also like to share some of the recent changes we have made that will strengthen and streamline Tint World’s future growth.
We have been re ning and adding team members to each department at HQ to further support our franchisees and the growth of their businesses.
First, we evaluated our Marketing Department to better organize the structure and responsibilities. To achieve that goal, we have added two new team members, Juan Rivera, Social Communications Strategist; and Christian Dilian, Digital Media Manager. Juan has eight years of writing, producing, and social media strategy experience in numerous industries. Christian is a multi-talented creative with experience in video production and marketing for the RS1 racing team, along with eld experience in automotive wrapping, tinting, and ceramic coating. He truly knows the industry in-and-out, which gives him a unique perspective when creating content.
The strategies that we used to get to 100 locations will not be su cient to get us to our goal of 300 by 2025. Having said that we want to continue to improve communications between the marketing department and owners so that we can have a consistent message which supports sales growth.
In early January we began exploring partnerships with social media in uencers. This is shaping up to be an exciting venture, as these partnerships will allow us to magnify our reach and resonate with new demographics. Moreover, our involvement in the 2023 Quaker State Driven to In uence Campaign, featuring digital in uencers and brand ambassadors like Anatalia Villaranda and Coco Zurita, is a rst-of-its-kind initiative. We are thrilled that Tint World was tasked with creating vehicle wraps for the vehicles that are given away as part of the sweepstakes.
We have also collaborated with Renfro Brands, a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of quality socks and legwear products with partnerships that include Jeep and many other worldwide brands. This unique partnership allows us to expand our brand's exposure and tap into new market segments.
In our e orts to improve our eld operations support we have brought onboard a new Chief Operations O cer, Michael Lopez. Michael has an extensive background in the automotive industry, having been responsible for the substantial growth of several well-known automotive companies under the Driven Brands umbrella. Michael’s insights and expertise will be an asset to the future success of our franchises.

Additionally, Je Stark will be transitioning to a new role as Chief Development O cer to focus on the growth of the 200+ locations currently in development. Je will be responsible for developing strong relationships with franchise owners, o ering them the support they need during those crucial early stages of business, and ensuring that the best possible franchisee candidates join the Tint World family.
In order to evolve from a technological standpoint, we have also expanded our IT team with the addition of Max Morgenbesser, our new Front-End Developer. Max’s experience in the world of start-ups and mobile development will help us as we build the self-service kiosk technology, as well as future technology advancements to support franchisee growth and success.
With all these new additions to our sta we have outgrown our current headquarters. We are all looking forward to the future HQ location which is currently under construction. This new space will allow us to expand our training o erings and support e orts for franchisees and their sta .
With nearly 150 locations open and another 150+ in development our brand is becoming a household name and therefore increasing the value of each franchise location. Also, we continue to see an upward trend in average same-store growth and new locations have been growing sales faster than ever.
As we move forward, let's continue to bring our A-game and continue to make Tint World the top choice for automotive enthusiasts. Remember, our success is built on collaboration, innovation, and dedication, and it's through these values that we will continue our remarkable journey.

Strategic Insights: Leveraging Customer Data for Personalized Marketing and Enhanced Engagement

In today's digital age, where information and data play a crucial role, businesses must adopt various strategies to thrive in a competitive market. One key strategy is the collection of the customer’s contact information, such as their email address, phone number, and street address – including their zip code!
An email address can be leveraged in several ways. For starters, you’re able push targeted marketing o ers in a direct approach, or keep them in a “drip” campaign that helps to retain relevance, brand awareness, and increases the chances that they’ll make a purchase in the future. Implementing a solid email marketing strategy enables Tint World® to nurture relationships at all stages, increase chances of repeat/complimentary business, and foster long-term brand loyalty.
On the back end, a collected email address is also essential for reviewing overall campaign performance. This includes valuable insights and data that can shape an e ective marketing strategy such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and more. This data empowers Tint World to understand its audience, identify trends, and tailor marketing e orts accordingly. Collecting emails facilitates the creation of comprehensive customer databases, enabling segmentation based on demographics, preferences, purchase history, and other criteria. This ensures customers receive timely, highly targeted, and relevant content – and increasing the odds that they’ll make a purchase in your location!
We all know how important a phone number is for calling customers, but did you know that you can also create SMS drip campaigns that function with a similar strategy to your drip email campaigns? As a standard practice, we want to contact our customers seven times, seven (di erent) ways. By integrating SMS messaging into your overall strategy, you’re ensuring a more well-rounded approach, and connecting via the channels that your customers feel most comfortable using.
Arguably one of the most important insights is the collection of the customer’s zip code. This not only helps validate the e ectiveness of a location-speci c marketing campaign, but it also helps target speci c areas and make sure resources are being allocated e ectively. You always want to know where your customers are coming from – and not coming from.
Remember, your book of business and remarketing strategies is only as valuable as the accuracy of the data they contain. Get the most out of your campaign’s performance by collecting your customer contact information at every opportunity.

ective Strategies to Attract Quality Employee Prospects

When employers are asked what their biggest challenge is in today’s economy, the answer 99.9% of the time is, “ nding good employees.” This has been a hot topic lately and will almost certainly continue to be the case. Below are three tips to help attract quality employee prospects.
1. Social Media – There is no debating the importance of social media regarding marketing. While it is essential to maintaining and attracting customers, social media can also be a great tool to attract potential employees. Both technicians and salespeople are usually well-aware of their local competitors. When they come across consistent posts showcasing the various jobs you undertake, the impressive size of your shop, and the apparent “busyness” you experience, it greatly in uences their inclination to consider your business as a potential workplace. It communicates that your business is nancially stable and in turn employees’ jobs will enjoy the same stability and room for growth. On the other hand, if technicians and salespeople notice sporadic and rare posts from your business, it creates the impression that you are either not busy or not fully committed to your business. This is not the message you want to convey when you're trying to attract professional and diligent employees.
2. Local Shows and Events – Attending or setting up a booth at local events is a great way to get in front of, not only potential customers, but also potential employees as well. Employees who have a genuine passion for the industry and their career often make an e ort to attend “cruise nights” and other events. It’s common for them to be present during their personal time. This presents an excellent opportunity for them to get a rsthand understanding of your business. When they witness you actively promoting your business it shows the commitment to long term success and evidence of thriving environment where people can grow professionally.
3. Keep Your Store Neat, Clean, and Presentable – One of the main reasons employees look to change employers is due to the work environment. Potential employees will stop by a store unannounced to see what it is like. The condition of your store carries signi cant meaning in terms of how you manage your business and the potential treatment of your customers and employees. If your store is cluttered, covered in dust, displays have holes, and everything is in an overall state of disarray, it re ects poorly on your business practices. Conversely, if your store is neat, clean, well-organized, and welcoming, it sends a powerful message about the kind of business you operate and the kind of environment it provides for both work and shopping. Even the background in the pictures you post on social media can in uence their perception of your store as a desirable workplace

Introduction
Meet Michael Lopez
We are thrilled to announce the newest member of our leadership team, Michael Lopez, our new Chief Operations O cer.
Michael is a seasoned executive with wide range of experience in the Automotive Industry. His extensive industry knowledge and proven have seen him drive exponential growth for several major brands, rmly establishing him as a leader in his eld.
Most recently, Michael oversaw the growth of a prominent automotive repair and replacement company helping it become the second largest in its industry in the U.S.
As our new COO, Michael’s vast experience and dedication to excellence will drive Tint World to new heights. His forward-thinking approach aligns perfectly with our ongoing mission to expand the brand and deliver the highest quality service and products to our customers.
Born and raised in Southern California, Michael now resides in North Carolina with his family. In his youth, Michael was a standout baseball player, winning the National Championship while at Rancho Santiago College where he was undefeated as a starting pitcher for two years. His talent in baseball earned him a full Division-1 scholarship to the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and he was later drafted as a free agent by the Atlanta Braves in 1999.
We’re excited about Michael joining the Tint World HQ team and can’t wait to see what awaits in the horizon.
