Team building through pizza

Jody and Mark Pectol, owners of Zzeek’s Pizza at Warner and McQueen roads, Chandler, believe that making pizza together is a good team-building exercise. So each weekend during Girl Scout cookie sale time, they invite a different Girl Scout or Brownie troop to spend some time in the kitchen putting together some pies. They also let them sell cookies in front of their restaurant. On Feb. 10, it was Chandler Troop 4207’s turn. 1)Jody shows Maya Wilkinson how to lay on the sauce; 2) Kassandra Smyth makes sure the cheese is laid on evenly; 3) McKinley Fox is finishing the cheese and about to lay on another topping; 4) Jody and Mark are surrounded by the troop members; 5) Jaelyn Alvarez has her hands full with dought; 6)Makinzie Yotty parses out the pepperoni; and 7) Ellie Peppin works in the shadow of assistant manager James Phillips.
