With a glowing Parade of Lights, a Tumbleweed Tree trimmed in decorations, live musical performances, activities, holiday crafts and a visit from the big man himself, Santa – you don’t want to miss the City of Chandler’s 60th Annual Tumbleweed Tree Lighting celebration.

Ensure a jolly season for all by enrolling your kids in Chandler Parks & Recreation winter break camps. Whether your kiddo is an athlete, a crafter, a nature nut, a chef, or a little bit of each, we have the lowdown on can’t miss winter fun. Morning, afternoon and full day sessions are available at the Environmental Education Center, Snedigar Recreation Center and Tumbleweed Recreation Center. TUMBLEWEED RECREATION CENTER Take a page from Tumbleweed Recreation Center’s book as they bring the beloved holiday story of Polar Express to life. Come dressed in your PJs and enjoy an evening of storytelling, crafts and hot chocolate. Children will receive their first gift of the season from Santa Claus. Pre-registration is required.
