41st Parameter Moves into Larger Offices, Plans to Hire 70 41st Parameter, a fraud detection and prevention software company, has moved into expanded offices at 16260 N. 71st St.—just a short distance from its original Airpark locale. It plans to hire 70 people in the next year, almost doubling its local workforce, reports the Phoenix Business Journal. The company is hiring software engineers and developers, marketers, technical writers, customer support and consulting people. Salaries range from $70,000 to more than $130,000. Last year, Paramater was acquired by Experian for $324 million. Clients include eBay, American Airlines and Yahoo Japan.

Timeshare Company Acquires Zona Hotel Zona Hotel & Suites in the Scottsdale Airpark sold last month to a company formed by Florida-based Orange Lake Resorts, and will shut in late July for an 18-month renovation. The project, likely a timeshare conversion, will cost at least $25 million, reports Business Real Estate Weekly of Arizona. The 27-year-old hotel, adjacent to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, is the first Arizona location for Orange Lake Resorts, which has 12 Holiday Inn Club Vacations in eight states and is one of the largest timeshare businesses in the country, reports BREW. The buyer paid $52 million cash to Resort Suites Scottsdale, of Canada, for the property, and is expected to reduce the total number of rooms, according to Phoenix Business Journal.
