Tower Compactor donates $105K to Goodwill BY PEORIA TIMES STAFF Tower Compactor recently donated $105,000 to Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. The two companies have worked together for more than a decade. The donation will be used to improve the 67th Avenue and Peoria Career Center. “We are so appreciative of Tower Compactor’s generous gift,” said Julie Dunnigan, vice president, philanthropy. “The Career Center at 67th Avenue and Peoria will become our new flagship center, providing holistic career development and training services to anyone in the community at no cost. The renovation will include a new online train-
ing space, enhanced technology, and a classroom for in-person classes and learning.” The remodel is expected to be finalized in 2022. Goodwill serves over 15,000 people a year through its in-person and virtual career services. Job seekers can get help updating their resume, mock interviewing, education or participate in a digital skills training. Goodwill also operates MyCareerAdvisor.com, a 24/7 online experience for job seekers to connect with career navigators and participate in education and training, read informative articles, and obtain self-directed skills training and certifications or search for available jobs in their area.
