hree Ahwatukee Realtors were among the real estate professionals and brokerages honored last week at the second annual BREA awards dinner. Realtor Kevin Houston was honored as the top seller in Ahwatukee while Bonnie Holland and Rachael Richards received awards for being among the top 10 most productive agents in the East Valley and Ahwatukee overall. The BREA awards – standing for Best Real Estate Agent – were started last year as a new annual form of recognition for Realtors in the region and are given to the most productive agents, based on the number of closed units and sales volume according to data pulled from the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service. This year’s awards were based on deals closed in 2017. “You impact the industry and the community,” Gilbert financial advisor Ben Andrus told nearly 250 real estate professionals who attended the dinner. “It’s unique to recognize top business performers strictly by results.” Awards organizer Heidi Zebro said BREA
