Hello and welcome I’m delighted to announce the launch of our brand new Comedy Club - ‘Out of Bounds Comedy Club’ Watersmeet! Our new comedy club launches on Tuesday 16 July, with Russell Howard and Friends which is sure to be a fun filled night with some of Britain’s top comedians, so be sure to put this and future dates in your diaries! Following the launch night we hope to make the comedy club a regular feature in the programme with subsequent line-ups in September and November.

In addition we have a fantastic programme coming up over the next few months including our live theatre shows, Mr Stink by David Walliams 25-27 August, One Night of Queen, Rolling Stones Story, Bowie Experience and the Illegal Eagles.

From 22 July Watersmeet’s auditorium will be closed for 4 weeks whilst some exciting building improvement works are carried out. These include refurbishment of the main public toilets, which will include an additional toilet cubicle in the ladies toilets, the installation of a new cinema screen (jointly funded by the Friends of Watersmeet Film Society) and some backstage building upgrades.

During this time the Box Office will remain open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and tickets for events will still be available to book online, over the phone or in person.

Artistsmeet will also continue to be open to visitors, located in the lower foyer at Watersmeet, Artistsmeet displays the work of local artists, so next time you are here why not take a look around.

Following the installation of the brand new cinema screen, which is set to improve the cinema experience for all, we have Toy Story 4 and the Lion King Live Action movie set to light up Watersmeet’s new ‘big screen’ in August and September, with some other highly anticipated films planned for later in the year.

Our live streaming programme includes the West End hit comedy One Man Two Guvnors and The Lehman Trilogy an exploration of the progress and pitfalls of capitalism leading up to the 2008 financial crisis.

Finally, pantomime is never far away for a theatre, as the preparation goes on all year around, and this year’s panto is Peter Pan starring Todd Carty (Tucker, Eastenders, The Bill) as Captain Hook, so be sure to hook your tickets early to get the best seats!

Booking by phone, online or in person Telephone lines are open during Box Office hours or call into the venue. Tickets can be purchased with credit/debit cards or cash. A £1 per ticket administration fee will be charged on films (up to a maximum payment of £6) for telephone and online bookings. There will be no fee payable for customers booking in person at the Box Office.

All other events (unless indicated otherwise) include a booking fee.

Concessions Where applicable concession tickets are offered, but ages vary and are set by the hirer or promoter. Please note that not all events offer concession options.

Carers Tickets are offered free of charge at most events. You will need to show proof of dissability at the Box Office at the time of booking and a ticket is required.

Babes in Arms Children under the age of two must have a free ‘Babes in Arms’ ticket for licensing requirements. Children over the age of two must have a paid ticket issued at the relevant price.

Exchange or refund of tickets Programme information is correct at the time of going to print, but is subject to change.

Patrons are advised to check their tickets at the time of booking as tickets and fees are not refundable. Subject to availability and return of original tickets, we can exchange tickets for another performance of the same production and a £2 administration fee will be charged for this service. Where the new performance is at a higher cost, the price difference will be charged, but if lower, we would not be able to provide a refund.

Opening Hours 2 Jan - 31 Dec, Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm 3 Nov - 29 Dec, Saturday, 10am - 2pm Closed Bank Holidays (subject to event schedule) The Box Office is also open one hour before curtain up on performance days and will remain open for 15 minutes after the start of the show.

As a venue for hire the price of the tickets is passed back to the hirer. The booking fee is a charge to cover our administration, overheads, staffing costs and applicable credit card fees.

BOOKING INFORMATION Disabled access and facilities Watersmeet is fully accessible and offers the following facilities: - Lift from the lower to the upper foyer - Disabled toilet - Emergency exit for wheelchair users - Disabled ramp to the side of the stage - Reserved seating situated in the rear of - - the Auditorium - Infrared hearing devices When booking your tickets, please ensure you advise the Box Office if you require assistance or you are a wheelchair user.

Finding us Watersmeet is situated in the centre of Rickmansworth, on the High Street and is easily reached by rail or road.

Rickmansworth Station is a short walk away and is served by both the Metropolitan and Chiltern line trains.

Parking All council car parks in Rickmansworth are ‘Pay and Display’.

Charges apply Monday-Saturday, 8.30am6.30pm and exclude Sundays and Bank Holidays.

The first hour is free, but a ticket must still be displayed. After this time, the following charges will apply: £1 for the 2nd hour £2.50 for up to 3 hours £4 for up to 4 hours (maximum stay is 4 hours) The parking payment machines will not accept the use of cash, but will accept payment by card which can be used either as Chip & PIN or contactless.

- Northway multi-storey Car Park, Upper and Lower decks - Three Rivers House Rose Garden Car Park - Three Rivers House Staff Car Park Upper and Lower decks can be used from 4.30pm Monday -Saturday and all day Sunday.

- Talbot Road Car Park ‘A’ (West of 9 Talbot Road) - Ebury Road Car Park Please note: The lower section of the staff car park closes at 11pm and Watersmeet staff are unable to assist if you get locked in.
