A Bug & Butterfly Exploration

Become a Park Ranger for the morning and help us care for our park and its wildlife. We will be patrolling through Leavesden Country Park, surveying its wildlife and reporting back all that we have discovered.

this Summer

Come along and create a scarecrow ‘friend’ ready to be displayed around Abbots Langley as part of ‘Abbots Autumn Fest’ in September 2019. Bring any bits that might make your scarecrow individual! . . . a funny hat or a colourful shirt! We will also supply clothes you can use. We may not be able to return your scarecrow after the event.

Join us to explore the bugs and butterflies within Leavesden Country Park. We will be using nets and pots to have a closer look at the invertebrates that we spot and special charts to help us identify them.

Summer Time Nature Ramble Tuesday 27 August 1pm - 3pm

All ages welcome

Take a wander around Leavesden Country Park this summer with the Park Ranger who will talk about the wildlife that we see along the way. Hear the history of the dinosaur trees and learn about the creatures calling Leavesden Country Park home.
