Understands how to power on/off plasma table

Follows process to turn on Air Compressor, Air Dryer, and Air Supply

Understands how to turn on (oxygen/nitrogen) gases and read regulators

Understands how to turn on Plasma Controller

Follows process of checking coolant levels

Understand how to “home” machine

Confidently check and change plasma consumables (diagram available)

Knows what consumables to use for different plate thicknesses

Follows process to load program for cutting

Understands how to do a plate alignment

Understands how to start the cutting program

Checks templates and parts for correct dimensions

Interpret orders acknowledgment and diagrams

Operate tumbler to clean plasma cut parts

Once the trainer is confident the trainee has the basic tools and knowledge to perform their job, the trainer will meet with the manager to discuss the training. Once the manager is confident in the completion of the training, he or she will sign and date each area provided below.
