Gold medal at Lisa Dalpe Memorial Tournament The U11-1 Brant Sports Excellence team emerged undefeated and victorious in the Annual Lisa Dalpe Memorial Hockey Tournament in Paris the first weekend of January. The team started their first tournament on Friday night against the Ilderton Jets, pulling off a 2-1 win in a close battle. Saturday morning started with a 4-1 win against Georgian Shores and finished with an 8-0 win against West Niagara. The U11-1 clinched first in the division which resulted in a 7:30 am quarter final against Beverly. After a 2-1 win, Paris Wolfpack met their local rival Burford Coyotes for the semi-final. Both teams played strong, but the Wolfpack was able to move onto the championship game with a 4-3

win. With the stands full of friends and family, the Paris Wolfpack met the Ilderton Jets again. After a close first period, Paris scored their first goal with 12 seconds left on the clock. It remained that way until four minutes left in the third where they took a 2-0 lead. The final goal was on an empty net to finish the
