PDHS Sports: Boys basketball teams sweep North Park

The fourth place senior team trailed North Park for the first half of the game, trailing the Trojans 28 to 35.

Halfway through the third quarter the Panthers caught up to their opponents and by the end of the third they had a slim three point lead. The fourth period was a seesaw battle with Panthers nosing out the Trojans with a 62-61 win The Panthers improved their rebounding at both ends of the court and offensively scoring 9 three pointers and the rest going to the rim for two. Leading scorers for the Panthers were Ethan Lewis with 17, Nathan Halliday with 16 andAlec Eder with 12.
The fourth place Juniors led on the scoresheet from the first tipoff to the final buzzer. The Panthers were playing a strong defence forcing many turnovers and shot blocks and out scoring their opponents
54-45. Caanan Sherbino led the way on the scoresheet with 16, followed by Jacob Kreager with 10.
Girls Volleyball
The Panthers travel to North Park where the sixth placed Junior team fell to the Trojans three games to one. The fourth placed Senior girls went home early by sweeping North Park three games to zero
