COMMUNITY NEWS Moreover, the Bawcutts have been dedicated members of the Paris Presbyterian church since they first arrived in Paris in 1956.
One of Joyce Bawcutt's recent notable moments was when she became the first person to register for the Paris Women's Missionary Society (WMS) Auxiliary's first open meeting, which was held earlier this year. The event, a Valentine's Tea, saw each member bringing their teacup and tea bag, with hot water provided. Joyce's enthusiasm and commitment to community engagement were evident as she eagerly signed up for the event at the age of 99.
