I’ve been lucky to have travelled to many places in the last couple years, but I have also wanted to explore more of my wonderful country. To that end, when a friend mentioned going to the Christmas markets in Quebec City, I was more than on board. I have been to Montreal, but never Quebec City and I now know they are total opposites. Old Quebec is more akin to Europe than the hustle of a big city. Cobblestone streets lead through a warren of historic buildings, boutiques, an abundance of restaurants from street food to fine
dining. We travelled with friends and chose to drive. I really had no idea how far it was, but I do now! Next time we’ve all decided to check out flights.
