The annual Cash and Carry Under $500 Sale will on display throughout the Centre and in the beautiful Studio One overlooking the Estuary. With hundreds of original artworks; from paintings, prints, ceramics, jewellery and more, there is bound to be something that takes your interest. By giving a piece of art this Christmas, you are not only supporting local talent and investing in our economy, but giving something truly unique. Another way to gift friends and family is with a voucher for the Arts Centre. This voucher is redeemable in the gift shop and for all the art classes on offer.

“The Art of Teaching” The Arts Centre and Café will be open all summer holiday, daily from 9am to 4pm. A great place to bring visitors and to stop in after a brisk walk around the Te Ara Tahuna Walkway. The Centre will close only for the following holidays; 25, 26 December 2018 and 1, 2 January 2019. The Summer School holiday programme for children will run over three weeks from 14 to 31 January 2019, offering a range or art and craft courses. Join into a short half-day class or a full day class.
