It’s stating the obvious that Millwater is a great community! That’s why we all live here, right?

Millwater is special for many reasons: people care about and support their community and help one another. We relish being part of and able to serve our community in a number of ways.

As “Sounds of Greece”, we enjoy performing free for local fundraisers such as the Silverdale School Country Show Day or helping make the day more enjoyable by performing for dementia unit patients at Evelyn Page and other retirement villages, as well as fundraisers for Hospice.

As a member of the Rotary Satellite Club of Orewa-Millwater, it’s been a pleasure to organise, and for Sounds of Greece to perform at, the recent Greek Extravaganza fundraiser for Hibiscus Hospice. This celebration of all things Greek and is now an annual fixture on the Auckland/Hibiscus Coast events calendar. This year the event raised $13,000 for Hospice. The Greek Extravaganza wouldn’t have been the success it was without the support of our business sponsors, many of whom are based in Millwater. Thank you.

In all these capacities, and more, Cristina and I are ready to continue to serve our wonderful community.
