The Year In Epidemiology 2017 Our 2017 calendar of key events in epidemiology contains 120 listings, an average of 10 events per month. However, the first half of the year is favored for courses and conferences with approximately two-thirds of all the events. As usual, June is the busiest month for epidemiology events with 23 separate offerings. 2017 will provide an unusually wide range of different types of events and courses. Included on this list are: ► Criminal-Epidemiological Investigation Workshop in February ► Short course on Epidemiology in Complex Emergencies ► Conference entitled Ecology Meets Epidemiology in March ► Hitchhikers Guide to Epidemiology short course in England in May ► Real World Data Epidemiology summer school in June
Two noteworthy international meetings are the 21st World Congress of Epidemiology sponsored by the International Epidemiological Association in Saitama Japan in August and the 6th International Conference on Epidemiology and Public Health in Paris in October. If your upcoming event is not listed here, use the submission form at http://www.epimonitor.net/Events.htm to include your listing in our online calendar free of charge. It will be listed on our website and featured in our EpiGram email alerts to all subscribers. Roger Bernier, PhD, MPH Editor & Publisher
