The heart is at the core of our lives. Our hearts beat around 100,000 times a day, pumping nearly 7,000 litres of blood through more than 96,500 kilometres of blood vessels to serve organs in our bodies. On another note, this past December marked the end of my undergraduate degree in psychology.
