When the temperature drops, so can your immune defences. Sniffles, coughs, and fatigue can sweep through households and workplaces, making winter the unofficial season of colds. While a warm scarf and a bowl of chicken soup can offer comfort, boosting your immunity from the inside out is the real game-changer. Thankfully, there's a supplement on the scene that combines six powerful ingredients—all backed by science—to help your body fight off seasonal bugs more effectively, Proancynol 2000. Let’s break down what makes this product a smart winter wellness ally, and how each ingredient plays its part in defending your immune system
Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a powerful antioxidant that your body produces naturally, but levels can decrease with age or illness. What makes ALA special is that it works in both water and fat environments in the body— meaning it can go almost anywhere to help neutralise damaging free radicals.
In the context of winter colds, ALA supports immune cell function and helps reduce oxidative stress caused by inflammation or infection. It also helps regenerate other antioxidants like vitamin C and vitamin E, making it a sort of backstage coordinator for your body’s antioxidant team.1 BONUS: It may even support healthy blood sugar levels and energy metabolism, helping you feel less sluggish during those dark, chilly days.
Green tea isn’t just a cozy drink; it’s also packed with immune-supportive compounds. One of the stars in green tea extract is the polyphenol epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Studies suggest EGCG can inhibit the replication of certain viruses, including the common cold.
It also enhances the function of T-cells, which are essential for immune defence. Plus, green tea extract has mild thermogenic (metabolismboosting) effects, which might help fight off that “winter weight gain” feeling.2
Selenium might be a trace mineral, but its impact on immune health is anything but tiny. It plays a crucial role in the production of seleno-proteins; enzymes that protect cells from oxidative damage and help regulate immune responses.
Low selenium levels have been associated with increased susceptibility to viruses, so getting enough, especially in winter, is vital. Selenium also helps modulate inflammation, ensuring your immune system doesn’t go overboard, which can sometimes make cold symptoms feel worse.3
Rosemary isn’t just for seasoning your roast potatoes; it’s a medicinal herb with centuries of use behind it. This extract is rich in compounds like carnosic acid and rosmarinic acid.
Research shows that rosemary extract can help reduce upper respiratory tract inflammation and may slow the replication of certain viruses. Its antioxidant action also supports lung health and eases congestion, making it particularly useful during cold and flu season.4
Lycopene is the antioxidant responsible for the vibrant red colour of tomatoes and watermelons. It’s known primarily for its role in heart and skin health, but it also provides a strong defence against oxidative stress and inflammation, two common features of winter illnesses.
Lycopene supports the integrity of cell membranes, including those in the respiratory tract, and helps reduce the severity of cold symptoms. It also supports immune cell communication, which is key in identifying and attacking viral invaders quickly.5
N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a supplement form of the amino acid cysteine and a precursor to glutathione, one of your body’s most important antioxidants. It’s especially known for its ability to break down mucus, making it easier to breathe when you’re congested, and for supporting lung function.
NAC not only thins mucus but also reduces inflammation in the respiratory tract, making it a common go-to for those with lung conditions. During the winter, it’s a great addition to your wellness toolkit to help keep your airways clear and your immune system in top shape.6

To get the most from your supplement, pair it with other healthy habits:
Stay hydrated – Mucous membranes work best when well-hydrated.
Sleep well – Your immune system recharges during deep sleep.
Eat real food – Fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins fuel your defences.
Move regularly – Moderate exercise boosts immune cell circulation.
Wash your hands – Still the best way to prevent the spread of viruses.
Unlike conventional cold remedies that often wait for symptoms to appear, Proancynol 2000 focuses on prevention, arming your immune system before cold season hits full force. With the right combination of nutrients and herbs, you can strengthen your body’s defences and stay one step ahead of seasonal sniffles, enjoying the season with vitality and peace of mind.

Stay warm, stay well, and let your immunity shine—
The launch of Repair Ointment incredibly useful new product to the AIM lineup. Uniquely different from the other choices of skincare that works, Repair is a stand-alone ointment to keep on hand for rough hands, chafed feet, dry elbows, itchiness on the abdomen, back or chest, or any other irritated skin area.
Applying the ointment’s super hydrating formulation protects your skin while plantbased ingredients such as barley seed extract and saccharomyces ferment filtrate go to work at repairing the affected areas that are causing you concern or discomfort.
For parents, Repair Ointment is gentle enough to use on children of all ages, even newborns with sensitive skin that is still developing. It isn’t until around the age of two that the skin barrier of an infant begins to be similar to that of an adult. Using Repair’s gentle, fragrance-free formulation on redness.
At the same time, Repair Ointment has no age barriers, so its gentle efficacy works wonders on skin barriers, regardless of the ages of men, women, young adults or children. Whether you work with your hands and develop irritatingly cracked skin, or you are affected by seasonal weather conditions that increase skin dryness, or you notice rough patches of skin that need attention, use Repair Ointment on those spots to repair the situation.
Think of Repair as the ideal go-to skin ointment to carry around in backpacks, diaper bags, etc. and to keep at home in first-aid kits or medicine chests so that repair is always on hand and ready to go to work.
Whenever AIM conducts the extensive research required to develop new products, a major part of the follow-up involves trials in which people test the products in development before they are fully packaged and launched as additions to the product lineup.
Long before the release of AIM Repair Ointment, product samples were given to a number of Members, who tested the ointment and reported the results. Here’s some of their initial feedback about using Repair Ointment.
My husband, Randy, has struggled with irritated skin for many years, experiencing red spots, dryness and roughness across his upper torso. After using Repair Ointment, we began to see noticeable improvements. His skin felt softer and smoother in just three to four days, and the red spots were significantly reduced within a week. The ointment is easy to apply, non-greasy and provides great coverage. Given the quick results, I would gladly continue using it and recommend it to others dealing with similar issues.
~Judy
Repair Ointment helped with the rough texture of my skin almost immediately. I later used it on my face as well. It felt lovely, gave me a glow and helped with winter dryness. Since applying Repair on my face, I have had a couple of people asking about what I was using. The scent is very mild and easy to handle. The colour is bright white, and the ointment feels very nice and thick. It is pleasing to see how little was needed at a time and how far I could get with it. The 54 g was adequate for my usage, and I applied the ointment quite liberally.
~Michelle
My pit bull has itchy skin. . . not sure what causes it. When I apply Repair Ointment, I can see immediate relief for my dog. I even use it for mosquito bites on my skin . . . Repair works wonders.
~ Ilze
Forty-three years ago, American Image Marketing (AIM) came officially into being on April 8, 1982. It all began as a result of an incredibly nutritious powder sourced from green fields of young barley leaves.
The demand for AIM Barleygreen (predecessor of AIM BarleyLife) created the rise of a company grown by Members, who distributed this unique source of nutrition that works at maintaining wholebody health, right down to the cellular level.
The AIM Healthy Cell Concept released in 1983 aimed a focus on the idea of keeping your cells healthy by integrating lifestyle habits that include the unparalleled source of nutrients and phytonutrients in barley leaf powder. More AIM products that target specific areas of health support would follow in the years to come.
In year six of AIM history, the product lineup began expanding with the 1988 release of Herbal Fiberblend to target digestive health and Coenzyme Q10 (predecessor to CellSparc 360) to target heart health. Support for neuro health launched Composure in 1989 while memoryboosting Ginkgo (predecessor to GinkgoSense) was introduced a year later in 1990.
It is important to note that having product predecessors says a lot about AIM continuing to make products even better, whenever advancements in research and technology allow. A past success has not stopped AIM from pursuing further product improvements in a variety of ways, including enhancements in crop growth and harvesting, vegan certifications, reformulations or the discovery of new ingredients.
As time progressed, so did the AIM product lineup:

Menopause, the not-so-secret club every woman joins sooner or later, usually somewhere between the ages of 45 and 55. While it signals the end of periods and baby-making years, it’s certainly not the end of vibrancy, humour, or life, as you know it. Far from being an illness, menopause is a natural part of aging, like laugh lines and forgetting where you put your glasses (which, of course, are on your head).
Despite being a process all women go through, menopause is still shrouded in mystery, myths, and sometimes a little awkward silence. But let’s change that! This article is your friendly guide to understanding what’s really going on, embracing the ups and downs, and finding smart, doable ways to manage symptoms, all while keeping your cool.
Menopause is officially defined as the point when a woman has not had a menstrual period for 12 consecutive months. It results from a natural decline in reproductive hormones— mainly oestrogen and progesterone—produced by the ovaries. The transition typically unfolds in three stages:
1. Perimenopause: The lead-up to menopause, where hormone levels fluctuate, and irregular periods begin.
2. Menopause: The point when periods stop altogether.
3. Post menopause: The years following menopause, during which symptoms may ease but health risks associated with lower oestrogen levels can increase.1
Every woman’s experience is unique. Some breeze through the transition with minimal discomfort, while others face a wide range of symptoms that affect their quality of life.
The physical symptoms of menopause stem largely from declining oestrogen levels. Common changes include:
Sudden surges of heat, often accompanied by sweating and flushing, affect up to 75% of menopausal women.
Hormonal shifts can disrupt sleep patterns, leading to insomnia or frequent waking. Thinning of the vaginal walls and reduced lubrication may cause discomfort during intercourse and increase the risk of urinary tract infections.
Hormonal changes, combined with agerelated shifts in muscle mass, can lead to weight gain, particularly around the abdomen.
Oestrogen plays a role in maintaining joint and muscle health, so aches and stiffness can increase.
Thinning hair, dry skin, and brittle nails are often reported.2
Other possible changes include headaches, heart palpitations, and increased risk of osteoporosis due to bone density loss.2
Fluctuating hormones may lead to irritability, sadness, or heightened emotional sensitivity. Some women experience increased anxiety or depressive symptoms, especially if they have a history of mental health concerns, while others may struggle with difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, and feeling mentally “foggy” - common cognitive symptoms that can accompany hormonal changes.
These emotional shifts can be compounded by life changes often occurring during midlife— aging parents, children leaving home, or career transitions—making this period particularly challenging for many women.3
The good news is that menopause can be managed effectively with the right support, lifestyle changes, and, in some cases, medical interventions. Here are several evidence-based strategies:
A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains can help manage weight and support hormonal health. Include calcium and vitamin D-rich foods or supplements to protect bone health.
Regular exercise - both aerobic and strength training helps regulate mood, maintain a healthy weight, and strengthen bones and muscles. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity per week.
Establish a regular bedtime routine, avoid caffeine and heavy meals before bed, and create a cool, dark sleep environment If hot flashes interfere with sleep, cooling pillows or moisture-wicking sheets may help.
Mind-body practices such as yoga, meditation, deep breathing, and tai chi can reduce stress and improve emotional well-being. Journaling or talking with a trusted friend or therapist can also provide emotional support. 4
Menopause can arrive like an uninvited house guest, bringing night sweats, mood swings, and an inexplicable urge to throw your duvet out the window. But here’s the truth: this isn’t the beginning of the end; it’s the start of a new, powerful chapter.
Menopause is your body’s way of saying, “You’ve done the hard work, now let’s shift gears.” This is the era of you, with experience and self-assurance.
With the right mindset, support, and humour, you can navigate this transition with grace and swagger. Surround yourself with good people, stock up on magnesium and herbal tea, and never underestimate the healing power of laughter, stretchy pants, and a perfectly timed fan. Menopause doesn’t dim your light—it just changes how you shine.

As we celebrate Women’s Month this August, I find myself reflecting deeply on the strength, resilience, and quiet power that women carry. We are caregivers, nurturers, organisers, encouragers, comforters — often the ones holding everything and everyone together. Whether we’re driving our kids from one activity to another, preparing nourishing meals, lending a listening ear, or juggling work and household needs, our hands are always full and our hearts always open.
But there’s a silent truth that lives beneath this: in caring for everyone else, we too often forget to care for ourselves. This is why I’m so passionate about wellness — and more specifically, about the role that The AIM Companies has played in both my health and my career. Because women deserve to feel strong, balanced, and nourished. And we also deserve the opportunity to build purpose-driven lives that serve not just our families — but our own dreams too.
When I think about wellness for women, I think beyond salads and gym sessions. True wellness is holistic — it honours our body, mind and spirit. It needs to be simple enough to weave into a full life, and powerful enough to make a real impact.
That’s why I love AIM. It’s not just a collection of nutritional products; it’s a lifestyle of support for women in every season.
In my own journey, AIM has helped me bridge the gap between what my body needs and what my busy life allows. Each morning, I start with the Garden Trio — a blend of wholefood nutrition that fuels me at the cellular level. It’s my non-negotiable. It gives me the clean, nutritional boost and energy I need to tackle the day ahead.
I’ve learned that gut health is the foundation of total health, so I take FloraFood to keep my microbiome balanced, which in turn supports my mood, immunity, and digestion.
By Laura Kirsten - AIM Director
I also rely on AIMega to ensure I’m getting the essential fatty acids my brain and body need, and Composure to help regulate my nervous system during stressful moments — because let’s be honest, those moments are frequent when you’re managing a household, family, and business! And as I’ve moved through hormonal changes, Renewed Balance cream has helped me find equilibrium again.
Movement is another non-negotiable for me. It keeps my mind clear, my body strong, and my energy high — especially in my 40s. I place a high priority on regular exercise, and Peak Endurance has become my go-to product for fuelling those workouts.
With its blend of ATP and essential electrolytes, it helps me push through with strength and stamina. It’s not about chasing fitness perfection — it’s about feeling strong and present in my own body.
All of this is part of what I call living well. Not just for our families — but for ourselves.
What started for me as a journey toward better health has also opened the door to a thriving career. Leaving my corporate job to build a fulltime AIM business was a leap of faith — but it has turned into the most rewarding chapter of my life.
Through AIM, I’ve built a business from home that honours my values, allows me to be present for my family, and contributes meaningfully to our family’s future. It’s flexible, it’s fulfilling, and most importantly, it’s purpose-driven.
Entrepreneurship has given me the freedom to lead with my heart and build something that reflects who I am. I don’t just share products — I empower women to take back their health, reclaim their energy, and step into their God-given potential. I’ve seen firsthand how this opportunity helps women move from simply surviving to truly thriving — physically, emotionally, and financially.
Watching women thrive in their health is something I’m deeply passionate about—but equally close to my heart is seeing them rise up, lead, grow, and build businesses that impact others.
THIS is what I love about this business. It’s not about my name or my success. It’s about lifting others up; helping them find their voice, and watching them flourish. A true leader doesn’t shine alone. She cultivates other women to step into their own light, to become the best version of themselves so they can impact the world around them. That’s what the AIM community has made possible for me — a space to grow, to serve, and to lead a team of incredible women who are each building their own legacy, one step at a time.
This Women’s Month, my message to every woman reading this is simple: YOU MATTER TOO. Your wellness matters. Your dreams matter. You don’t have to put yourself last. You can create a life that honours your health, your values, and your family — while building something of lasting significance.
The AIM products helped me take care of my body and the AIM opportunity helped me build a legacy.
Today, I’m here — not just to tell my story, but to say: YOU CAN WRITE YOUR OWN. LET THIS BE THE MOMENT YOU BEGIN.

Tired but wired? You’re not alone. These days many people struggle to get the deep, restful sleep their bodies crave. One surprising culprit is low magnesium levels. This essential mineral plays a starring role in calming the nervous system, relaxing muscles, and supporting healthy sleep patterns, but thanks to modern farming, processed foods, and chronic stress, magnesium deficiency is surprisingly common.
Many factors can affect magnesium balance: a diet high in sodium, calcium, and protein, the consumption of caffeine and alcohol and the use of certain medicines such as diuretics, protonpump inhibitors (for reflux) and/or antibiotics. Pathological conditions, particularly those affecting the absorption and the elimination of nutrients (e.g., diabetes, renal function impairment, and physiological stress), may also result in significant magnesium loss or malabsorption.
While magnesium-rich foods and supplements are helpful, applying the mineral topically, especially through a bath, offers a gentle, effective way to relax both body and mind at the end of a long day.
Magnesium plays a critical role in helping your body wind down. It regulates neurotransmitters like GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), which helps slow brain activity, preparing you for sleep.
Magnesium also helps reduce the release of cortisol, the ‘stress hormone’, which, when elevated, can make it difficult to fall or stay asleep.
Unfortunately, many people are magnesium deficient due to factors mentioned above. This deficiency can show up as stress, muscle tension, poor sleep, fatigue, and even restless legs at night.1
That’s where topical magnesium steps in as it is absorbed through the skin and delivered directly to your bloodstream and tissues, bypassing the digestive system, which is especially helpful for those with sensitive stomachs or absorption issues.2
Soaking in a magnesiuminfused bath, allows the mineral to be absorbed transdermally (through the skin). While some scientific debate remains about the exact absorption rate,
• Calms the nervous system.
• Helps switch the body from ‘fight or flight’ to ‘eat and digest’ mode. This parasympathetic shift is key for falling asleep easily and staying asleep through the night.4
• Relaxes muscles.
• If you’ve ever had restless legs, night-time cramps, or muscle aches that keep you awake, magnesium can help. It works as a natural muscle relaxant, easing tightness and tension.
• Magnesium helps regulate the hormone melatonin, which governs your body’s internal sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm). A balanced melatonin level leads to better quality sleep.
• Reduces cortisol levels and inflammation. Chronic stress can raise cortisol levels and lead to inflammation, which are two major sleep disruptors. Magnesium helps buffer these effects and promotes a more peaceful transition to sleep. Magnesium helps boost GABA, a neurotransmitter that tells your brain to relax and stay calm.

Beyond sleep, magnesium baths offer a profound sense of emotional calm. Stress can deplete magnesium levels, and low magnesium can, in turn, make stress feel more overwhelming, a frustrating cycle. Topical magnesium helps break that loop by physically relaxing the body and soothing the mind.
Many people report feeling calmer, more grounded, and even happier after a magnesium bath. This isn’t surprising as magnesium influences serotonin and dopamine pathways in the brain, which are critical for mood regulation.
This isn’t just about sleep. Magnesium is your wingman in the fight against daily stress. It helps keep your mood steady, nerves calm, and meltdowns at bay.
Plus, magnesium is believed to influence feel-good brain chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. So don’t be surprised if you come out of your soak not just sleepy, but a little more positive.5
Always consult your healthcare provider if you have kidney issues or other medical conditions before starting regular magnesium baths.

Herbal Fiberblend’s Combination of Psyllium and Herbs Helps:
• maintain digestive health
• cleanse the colon and remove toxins
• promote regularity and a thorough evacuation of waste
• maintain healthy blood sugar and cholesterol levels by increasing soluble fibre intake
• reduce hunger pangs between meals
Since ancient times, psyllium (Plantago ovata) has been used in India and China for a variety of ailments, including constipation and diarrhea. Near the end of the twentieth century in North America, psyllium gained prominence as a fibre supplement. The seeds of the plant are covered in fibre-rich husks, which are removed in flat-stone mills that crush the seeds to separate the fibrous coating. Psyllium husks provide a super source of supplemental fibre.
