Hello and welcome to another Eastbourne Theatres live entertainment guide. We are so pleased to be able to present a full summer of plays, musicals, dance, concerts and comedians across all our venues, we really do have something for everyone.

From the smash hit West-End phenomenon SIX The Musical, to the ‘fun packed triumph’ that is David Walliams’ Gangsta Granny and I’m particularly pleased to be welcoming the amazing new production of Beautiful – the Carole King musical as part of its major national tour.

Comedians include Jason Manford and Jon Richardson among others, and the very welcome return of Dawn French.

I’m thrilled that the beautiful Devonshire Park Theatre is now back up and running at full steam and the Summer Productions are back! Firstly, it’s great to have the opportunity to re-visit Tabitha Mortiboys delightful play Beacons. This heart-warming story of love, loss and ice cream sundaes is set right on our doorstep under the starlit skies of the South Downs.

Then, in August, buckle-up for a mad-cap journey Around The World In 80 Days. From the team behind our last summer production The 39 Steps and Eastbourne’s legendary pantomime, this spectacular romp brings the Jules Verne classic to the stage like never before. Don’t miss it!
