This season we have a great selection of shows, with something for all the family.

Children’s shows include Gruffalo’s Child, The Smeds and Smoos, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Dinosaur that Pooped. Plus a tribute to Ms Rachel.

The New English Ballet Theatre bring their highly popular version of The Nutcracker.

For those who are more interested in science, the Magic of Science returns during the October half term.

After a highly popular tour, we are pleased to announce the return of Dreamcoat Stars. We also have tributes to George Michael, Rod Stewart, The Searchers, The Beatles, Adele and Elvis.

Many years before the Beatles stepped onto the world’s most famous zebra crossing, Glenn Miller made his last known recording at London’s Abbey Road Studios on Monday 27th

November 1944, just a few short weeks before he “disappeared” on December 15th of that same year.

Radlett Art Society

Radlett Art Society is exhibiting works by our diverse and creative Artist Members this year. There will be a rich mix of art styles on show. Artist members meet weekly throughout the year at The Radlett Institute, except for the 2 summer months of En Plein Air painting in a variety of local venues. The weekly meetings are a regular space for Artists to meet and make art in a supportive and relaxing environment. We welcome new members.

Patricia Barnett

Patricia is a local artist and originally trained in the 1970’s in Hampstead. Her passion has always been impressionism, she loves the way painters such a s Monet and Cezanne are able to convey mood and atmosphere through vibrant colours and the use of light. She tries to emulate theses great artists through her own work.

NOVEMBER – FOYER

Paul Thomas

Paul Thomas is an artist and cartoonist who was born in Radlett.

Returning for his third exhibition in the Radlett Centre, he will showing his recent paintings and drawings of Devon, Venice and around, as well as recent cartoons from Private Eye.

JANUARY – FOYER

Angela Rose

Angela is inspired and passionate about nature and birds, she paints with flowing brush. She like to explore different colour palettes and she paints with acrylic on canvas.

Angela has exhibited at the Royal Academy Art, Summer Exhibitions of Art and the Royal Watercolour Society.

Gift Vouchers can be purchased at the box office or through our website for any of our shows. They are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Conditions of sale: Tickets may not be exchanged or refunded unless a performance is cancelled. Tickets may be accepted for re-sale if a performance is sold out, at a charge of £3 per ticket. No ticket will be accepted for resale within 3 days of a performance, We cannot guarantee that tickets will be re-sold. We reserve the right to change the configuration of the seating, move members of the audience for artistic or practical reasons and to make any changes to the performance. Any money held on account is valid for 3 years. All tickets are inclusive of a £2 venue levy.

Running times: Where possible we publish an expected running time for our family shows. These are supplied in good faith, but are subject to change and should be considered as a guideline only.

Babes in arms: We welcome children, but request that parents ensure they are under control at all times. We indicate an approximate age suitability for children’s shows, and most shows are not suitable for under 3 year olds. If a babe in arms has to be brought to facilitate other family members, a £3 baby ticket must be bought for under 1s. This is to comply with our entertainments license.

Seating Plan

Access

By Car: The Radlett Centre is easy to get to by car within a few minutes drive from the M1 or M25. Parking: Our nearest car park is Newberries Car Park, situated directly across the road with 210 spaces. The car park is free after 6.30pm every evening and all day Sunday, and ‘pay and display’ at other times.

By Train: There is a regular Thameslink rail service with links to St Albans, Luton, & London St Pancras. The station is a two minute walk from the Centre. Passenger enquiries 08457 484950.

Access: The Radlett Centre can be easily accessed by wheelchair users. The main auditorium is equipped with an induction loop system.

Functions

The Radlett Centre’s auditorium converts into a spacious hall which is perfect to cater for a range of functions including Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations and Wedding Receptions. The flexible layout of the auditorium allows for the space to be tailored to your specific function requirements.

Room Hire

The Radlett Centre is the ideal venue for a range of professional events including conferences, seminars, AGMs, meetings and training sessions. All meeting rooms can be equipped with Free Wi-Fi / DVD / TV / Screen / Flip Charts and other meeting equipment. A full catering service is available for all rooms.

Douglas Hicks Room

A prestigious room which can comfortably accommodate up to 50 people depending on the layout.

Meeting Room 2

Perfect for classes, training sessions and general meetings for around 20 people and can be offered in various layouts to suit.

Meeting Room 1

A light and airy room accommodating up to 8 people, ideal for small meetings or interviews.
