The Balcony Observer's Report

Report No. 114
Report No. 119
July 2023
Vol. 12
1. A mature fruit of Paper mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera) in the morning (AM 07:16) on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan

The End (全文完)
Palimara Alstonia (Alstonia scholaris) puts out new leaves round and round on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan.
1. Today, Olive the beautiful with many bright eyes was looking at me. She seemed to be something to say. On the front view, you can see four of her eight eyes, two of which are particularly large in the center and have good eyesight.
2. It seems that she climbed a big green mountain, but it was just a leaf on my balcony in Taichung, Taiwan.
3. I like her to tilt her head and reveal herself.
4. To the left or the right?
5. A jumping spider (Phintelloides versicolor) dose not net for hunting, but jumps directly to the prey; however, he / she puts a silk before jumping between leaves, like Mountain climbers use rock nails and ropes to prevent falling.
6. Feel funny after jumping?
7. Want to jump to another place?
8. It was time to say goodbye. She jumped away. Only the silk floated in the wind...
A Light-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus sinensis) called A-Pui came to my my balcony in the morning in Taichung, Taiwan. The season with small fruits on my balcony has passed, therefor A-Pui seems to less come here. Unexpectedly, she suddenly flew to my balcony in the morning. She took a brief rest on a branch of blue jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia). She showed her attractive posture and looked at me.
I just had a camera on my hand. I was planning to use it to photograph some insects. I quickly switches the exposure parameters and took the picture before her leaving. Even with only a short pancake lens, I was satisfied. I like the image that she stayed there with many green leaves around.
