Dentists contracting with a waste disposal company should confirm that the company is following the TCEQ’s requirements. Please note that, although the requirements do not apply in situations where the U.S. Postal Service is the transporter (30 Texas Administrative Code 330.1207(c) (8), companies such as the Sharps Disposal, a TDA Perks Partner Endorsed Partner, use a tracking form attached to each Sharps Recovery System that includes the information required by TCEQ (30 Texas Administrative Code 330.1207(c) (5).
