Teton Science Schools inspires curiosity, engagement, and leadership through transformative place-based education. Our place-based approach increases engagement, learning, and community impact for over 15,000 students per year.
Located on four campuses in Jackson Hole, WY, Grand Teton National Park, and Teton Valley, Idaho, Teton Science Schools’ programs include overnight and multi-day Outdoor Learning Experiences for visiting schools, classes and educational institutions, an independent day school serving students in early childhood through 8th-grade, Outdoor Learning Experiences for schools and visitors from around the world, the historic Murie Ranch, educational Wildlife Expeditions and educational consulting.

What we offer
Experience our outdoor classrooms! Bring your students into one of nature’s most incredible classrooms—the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Grand Teton National Park, Teton Science Schools provides year-round, overnight and multi-day educational programming through our Outdoor Learning Experiences Program.
For over 50 years, Teton Science Schools has provided meaningful educational experiences for students of all ages. At the core of our programming is high-quality, place-based instruction. We teach to state and national science standards, including Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and our skilled instructors are trained in the CASEL framework for social and emotional learning. Teton Science Schools is also the exclusive educational partner of Grand Teton National Park. We believe great programs are student-centered, standards-based, safetyconscious and fun!
