MCP Rock Star of the Month We're thrilled to announce that our MCP Rock Star of the Month for October is Feliseta Kaufusi! Feliseta's naturally warm and caring personality makes her clients feel at ease under her care. Earlier this year, Feliseta was matched with a client who rejected most other caregivers' attempts to connect with her. Although Feliseta recognized how challenging working with this particular client was, she stepped back and received additional training and coaching from her care coordinator on how to better deal with certain behaviors. This knowledge enabled Feliseta to return to the case with new care techniques in her toolkit, and she has since helped stabilize this uniquely challenging case.

Expanding Our Impact Welcome to the Care Coordination team!
In an ongoing effort to protect the health and safety of our most vulnerable populations (which includes all Tender Rose clients), a CA State Public Health Of cer Order was issued on 9/28/2021. The order requires all registered home care aides to be fully vaccinated by 11/30/2021. If you haven’t gotten your COVID-19 vaccine yet, now is the time to do so. Any professional caregiver who does not receive the vaccine by 11/30/21 will be unable to legally provide care under a license from California’s Home Care Aide Registry. Until we’re out of this phase of the pandemic, please continue to: Complete COVID-19 self-screening questionnaire before going to your shift. Check your client’s O2 saturation and temperature upon arrival to your shift. Wear a surgical mask at all times while working with your client. Practice great hand hygiene and disinfect high traf c areas in your client’s home regularly.

After demonstrating outstanding caregiving with numerous clients, Zainab Al-Daeene was recently promoted from MCP to Assistant Care Coordinator. Ellya Hoex is new to Tender Rose, but she brings experience and passion to her role as Assistant Care Coordinator. Welcome to the Care Coordination team!
