This incredible team then shifted their focus to engagement and activities. They helped with several home projects and repairs, developed a routine that included neighborhood walks, and even took him to the movies, car shows, and museums. Their client is now happy, healthy, and stable as a result of their collaborative and compassionate care.

When they rst met their client, he hadn’t showered in over six months, his meals consisted mainly of fast food, and he wouldn’t let anyone inside his home (although it was a mess and in need of a deep clean). Working closely with their Care Coordinator, the team initiated care by telling their client they were there to provide medical oversight, and they wore scrubs to help him believe their therapeutic story. They quickly earned their client’s trust and within a month, they were able to help him shower, clean his house, and transition to more nutritious meal options.
