Nowadays, nobody cares about girls playing basketball. This is because they think boys are way better than girls. I also thought this way, however, when I saw WNBA player's highlights I think what we thought before is 100 percent wrong! There are some players that can play better than NBA players. Now I will tell you how amazing one of the WNBA's players is. Her name is Maya Moore. Maya Moore is 28 years old, she is the main point guard for the female USA team. Her mid-range shot is so wonderful that when she does not balance she still gets the shot. Moore was the first overall pick in 2011.
She attended Collins Hill High School in Gwinnett County, Minnesota. The Minnesota Lynx have won 4 championships over a 6 year period. She is the captain of her team and she got an average 25 points during her high school career. Maya Moore, my favorite WNBA player

During her break from play for the Minnesota Lynx, she went to the Chinese and European league to play basketball when WNBA season was in the off-season. She helped her Chinese league team get the championship, and she also goes into the WNBA all-star game and gets the all-star MVP.

Moore is a Christian. Moore has spoken about her faith saying, "Even though I’ve got a lot of awards and honors, it’s nothing compared to what the Lord has done to my heart and what He’s done for the world" and "I’m grateful to have the platform of an elite student-athlete and professional basketball player, but I want to do ‘His’ will with my life". She has even gone on the ESPN TV show and they discussed why she has the greatest abilities for stealing.

I think everyone compares her to Lebron James, but from my NBA experience, I think she is very similar to Kyrie Irving. Why? Well, because she and Kyrie Irving both have a lot of unique and special ways to let other players fall down or let themselves have the big space to shoot and increase the shooting percentage. They also have the same position on their teams. They are also the captains so they will encourage their teammates and lead the whole team.
Because of her basketball skills one company invited Maya Moore to take part in the Uncle Drew movie with Kyrie Irving. When they are playing, I almost think they are the same person. The first time I saw Uncle Drew, I don't know who that grandma is, I thought she is a NBA player dressed as a woman, I never thought that she is actually a WNBA player! In conclusion after I saw Maya Moore playing, I always think that women players can play very good, just as good, if not better than male basketball players.
