SERVING AGENTS AT AN ALL-STAR LEVEL behind-the-scenes all-star

How would you describe your job in one word?

What is one thing about you that others might find surprising or interesting?

Position/Title: Market Center Administrator Office/Company: Keller Williams Paint Creek

Fulfilling

and Somerset

Why do you think you excel at your job?

Professionally: Within my 15 years with KW, I was also a director of operations for a team, and we went from $0 to $30 million within two years. Personally: My husband and I, along with some friends from high school, went to Paris last year for the World Cup — we are big soccer fans.

How long have you been working with the person who nominated you? One year How long have you been working in the real estate industry? Fifteen years What did you do before you began working in your current position?

I have worked for KW for 15 years. Before taking this position, I was working for Keller Williams International supporting market center administrators across the country.

I truly care about my agents’ businesses. I want them to succeed at the highest level. I know that I can support their success by ensuring that the brokerage’s back end is running smoothly, that agents are getting paid quickly, and that they know how to utilize and implement our technology to make their lives easier. My goal is to help them streamline their business operations.

What does your typical workday look like?

I work for the brokerage, and my job is similar to that of a director of operations for a team. I handle all the operations for the brokerage. On a daily basis, I process closings, pay out commission checks and conduct one-on-ones with agents to see how we can support and grow their business. I dive into the office financials on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to make sure our office is profitable. I take this practice and share it with our agents, which provides them a system for tracking their profitability. I also help our agents integrate Keller Williams’ new technology platform into their business. With new systems and technology comes training, so I coordinate and develop training calendars to support our agents’ businesses. Of course, I definitely do not do this all alone — I have an amazing team.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

When our agents are stuck on something, and I can see it from another angle, it’s rewarding to help move them forward and reach their goals. What is the most challenging aspect of your job?

We have 218 agents, and everyone runs their business and communicates differently. I would say the most challenging aspect of my job is making sure that my team and I are using the best form of communication for each of our agents.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

I love soccer. Pre-COVID, I was playing on three soccer teams — I am patiently waiting for it to open back up. I am married with two boys, and we recently started kayaking on the weekends. How do you feel about being nominated as a Behind-the-Scenes All-Star?

I feel honored and grateful to be working with some amazing people. Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself, your job or the person who nominated you?

I believe Tom and I work well together because we lead in very similar ways. He cares about our agents and their businesses as much as I do — we both know when our agents succeed, everyone succeeds.
