Why did you decide to get into real estate?

In real estate, there is no limit to how many people you can help and no limit on how many lives you can change. It is simply unlimited.

What does success mean to you?

Success to me is accomplishing the goals you set for yourself.

What are you most excited about in your life right now?

I am most excited to grow my family with my wife.

What do you do to stay grounded/centered/sane?

Reviewing my goals and business plan every morning. Starting every day from zero.

When are you at your best?

When I start my day early enough to be ahead of the day.

How did your challenges shape who you are today?

They have taught me to always be positive and always see the brighter side. Life challenges have also taught me to stay calm in every situation.

What drives or motivates you?

The simple fact that if I accomplish all I set out to do, my clients, family and friends will live a better life.

Who has helped you get where you are today?

My uncle Mike Jaafar, who is the chief of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department — as I grew up, he taught me many life lessons regarding people, leadership and business. My broker Mike Phillips, who I have learned from for almost 15 years and who I have the pleasure of masterminding with every morning at 7 a.m. Real estate legend Bob Bohlen, who is my coach and mentor — he has taught me so much since I have started in the business.
