The Board of Trustees plays a vital leadership role in guiding the work of the Foundation. The Board is comprised of a diverse array of community members who are committed to furthering the mission of Marian,
advocating for Marian’s patients and families, and employing their unique talents, skills, and experience to accomplish the important work of caring for our community.

Rob is the Senior Vice President for HUB International Insurance Services. Now in his initial term as a Foundation board member, Rob has extensive experience with and commitment to numerous community organizations. He is involved with Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce, Santa Maria Elks, Breakfast Rotary Club of Santa Maria, and the Boys and Girls Club Foundation. Rob is also currently serving as a Trustee for the Orcutt Union School District.
Barbara has worked for 13 years as an engineer at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Barbara has a wealth of volunteer service experience through her son’s school. She also has several community connections throughout Santa Maria and Lompoc that she will bring to her first term as a Board member. Before serving on the Foundation Board, Barbara showed great interest in Marian’s programs and services, and her enthusiasm and commitment to Marian has only continued to grow during her first term.
Sofia is the current Sales Manager for Emerald Wave Media, her most-recent position in a career spanning 20 years in both English and Spanish radio and television. Because of her professional experience, she brings a unique perspective and invaluable knowledge to reaching all members of our community. Sofia has also been involved in a wide variety of community organizations, including First Five of Santa Barbara County, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, and the Alliance for Pharmaceutical Access.
